TOI: Anushka & Ankit to enter

Colors' Baani-Ishq Da Kalma started off with a huge title controversy which was later forced to christened as Baani. This Damini Shetty's debut project is doing decently well on the channel with the numbers as well as the appreciation from the viewers.


Lately, TOI.com reported about Gaurav Chaudhary, a model turned actor, playing the lead in the show. To add on, the show urges to spread an awareness by focusing on the scenario of NRI wedding that takes place.

Interestingly, along with showing the darker side of NRI weddings, the show will also put some light on the positive NRI weddings that took place. Thus, a new NRI family will be introduced in the show.

"A new positive NRI family will be introduced in the show whereAnushka Singh, last seen in SAB TV's Don't Worry Chachu and a fresh face Ankit Gill will play the character of mother and a son respectively," said source.

Ankit Gill will essay the parallel lead in the show. Anushka states, "It'samazing shooting for the show and I am looking forward for audiences feedback."

Their entry is expected to telecast next week.
