Part 6 A
"You and your sister can come to stay at my place, it's not a problem for me! Pack your things, I'll come to pick you early next morning!" and he just went away.
"Anki what do we do now?" Riya said in a worried way.
"Well Di, we go and stay with him nah! After all you really don't have any money. Your landlord has almost thrown you out of here! What other choice do we have?" Ankita replied in a logical way.
"Pata nahin ab kya hoga?" Riya said looking up as if asking god to reply her back.
"Oh come on Di, ab jo hoga dekha jaaye gaya! Tension kahee ke liye leti ho! The only thing we must assure ourselves is that they don't take Aryan from us nah!" Ankita said.
"Hein that's the most important thing!" Riya said, "Let's go and pack our things! Woh Akdu subah ko hi aa jaaye ga!"
Well they only had to pack Aryan and Riya's things, and this was done within two hours. Riya looked around her small apartment for the last night, she and Gia had spent good time here, she felt as if she was being uprooted again, and she no longer knew what was awaiting her in the future. Her only consolation was that Ankita was with her. They had a quiet diner, and after taking care of Aryan's need and singing a lullaby for him, everyone went to sleep. And for the first time that night, Aryan didn't wake every two hours. She had a sleepless night, with a burden on her heart and worried about her fate.
The next morning, Riya gave Aryan's bath and put the best clothes she had on him, afterall he was going to see her grandmother. She fed him his bottled milk, and went to get ready herself. She had just gotten out of her shower, and had put on her clothes, when she heard a knock. Since Ankita was having her shower, she had no choice but to go and open the door herself.

One day earlier
After having found out Gia's address and Aryan's truth, Arjun had been completely lost on what to do now. He had been staring blankly at the ceiling, when Rathore had entered his office. Seeing his friend so lost, Rathore couldn't stop himself from teasing Arjun.
"Kya hoowa? Kiske khayal mein khoye hoowe ho? Apne Miss Cyclone ki," Rathore said in a joking way.
Without realizing what he was saying, Arjun just agreed and said, "Hain Rathore, mein bhoori tarah se phas gaya hoon!"
"Oh my god, Arjun to lover bane gaya!" Rathore exclaimed.
Finally Arjun realized what he had said, and how Rathore had completely misunderstood everything. So before his friend continued to pull his legs, Arjun decided to tell Rathore the complete truth. He knew Rathore since very long time, and till now he had always been able to confess to him everything in his life.
"Why don't you tell your mother the truth?" Rathore said after listening to everything.
"Pagal to nahin ho gaye tum!" Arjun said, "You know her nah! She'll never forgive Shree again, not after what he did the last time!"
"But last time was just an accident Arjun, even if Shree was at fault, he was young at that time!" Rathore replied back.
"But what about this time? A baby out of wedlock? You know Mama nah, and how conservative and orthodox she is. She really believes in her culture and principles! She'd never forgive him!" Arjun replied.
"Still maybe at first she'd be very angry, but then after sometime, the pull of Aryan would drag her to him, and soon she'd forgive Shree! She'd never be able to distance or ignore her first grandson. She maybe strict, but she's not stone hearted" Rathore said.
"Still, there is no way I'm taking Aryan to her! For the time being let me just go and meet that Gia. Later we'd decide what to do," Arjun said and left for Gia's place.
However after seeing Gia's apartment, her neighbors and finally meeting her landlord, he hadnt been able to stop himself from asking them to come with him in his house. And after leaving Gia's apartment, instead of returning home, he had been too worried and had ended up at Rathore's house.
"Ab kya hoowa?" Rathore asked after seeing his face.
"Kuch bhi to nahin! Except, Rathore I just asked her, nope actually I ordered her to pack her things and wait for me next morning!" Arjun said.
"Why pack her things?" Rathore said not being able to understand anything.
"This is all because of you! Gosh why did I even listen to you! About Grandmother and grandson! What will I do now?" Arjun said with a troubled voice.
Rathore wasn't even understanding anything of what Arjun had said, so he dragged his friend to a sofa, got him a glass of water, and asked him to explain himself again. After some minutes, Arjun finally told Rathore everything about his visit, and how in anger he had ordered her, Aryan and her sister to come and stay in his house.
"What will I do now? What will I say to Mama?" Arjun asked Rathore.
"Well who told you to listen to me!" Rathore said, knowing that this wasn't as easy as he had said.
"Idea! I'll bring them to stay with you till we can decide what to do with them!" Arjun said with hope looking at Rathore with pleading eyes.
"No way? Does this house look like a house Arjun? That you'd bring two girls and one baby? And what will people say?" Rathore asked.
"You are also right! Your house is like a dumping ground! Why don't you ever clean it Rathore?" Arjun said looking at the mess everywhere. Clothes thrown everywhere, pizza boxes still on the table.
Rathore turned red at that, but he managed to say, "Well I don't really get time! And let's not deviate from the real problem! You have to take them to your place Arjun!"

"Kaisa dost ho tum? Ok fine, but tomorrow you'll come with me! You are the only one who can calm Mama and make her listen. And I seriously need your support!" Arjun said defeatedly.
"Ok, theek hein! Waise Shree ka kuch pata chala?" Rathore asked.
"Abhi tak nahin!" Arjun said angrily.
After discussing for some time, both friends agreed that Arjun would come to pick Rathore up first, then pick Gia's family and all will go home. That night Arjun couldn't sleep at all. He sincerely hoped that his mother would not be too angry at him or Shree.
The next morning Arjun went to pick up Rathore and both went to Gia's apartment.

Riya went to open the door, and found herself looking at two men. One was glaring ar her, while the other one was chuckling at her. She immediately recognized the latter as Mr Rathore, the one Arjun had dumped the baby on. She asked them to come inside, and wait for some time. She had a few things to wrap up before she could leave from here.
Arjun asked whether he could go and see Aryan, and Riya agreed, while she went to her room. Rathore was left alone in the living room, since he wasn't very fond of babies, especially not after his experience with small Aryan the other day. He was just going to sit on a chair, when he heard some noises behind him. He turned to see a very beautiful girl coming out of a room. She still had a towel on her head, and was wearing tight jeans and shirt. He couldn't stop himself from admiring her and staring at her.
Ankita had just gotten out from the bathroom, and she was going to dry her wet hair, when suddenly she found a strange man in the living room. She looked at him from up to down, kafi handsome hein, she said to herself. After a few seconds she was waiting for him to say something, but he kept staring at her. This made her very angry, first he had dared enter her house, and now he was staring at her shamelessly. She came to stand infront of him and waved her hands in front of him, and when she saw that he still was staring at her, she screamed enough loud to bring him to his senses.
"Kya hoowa?" Rathore said caught in a strange situation.
"hey kabhi ladki to nahin dekha hein ap ne? Jo ap muhje aise ghoor rahe hein!" Ankita said.
Rathore turned red at her words, and though she was completely right, he couldnt let anyone insult him, "Mein aur tumhe dekhe raha hoon?"
"Acha agar ap nahin to aur kaun tha! Apka judwa? "Ankita said.
Rathore was going to say something in his defense, but Ankita never let him said anything and continued, "Apko sharam nahin atta hein! God kitne old ho aap? Aur ab bhi ladki to cher rahe ho! Dayare, kya ho gaya hein zamane ko! Abhi mein apki biwi se milkar sab sach keh doongi!"
"For you information, I'm not old, neither I'm married!" Rathore said angrily, a bit hurt in his ego.
"Now why doesn't that surprise me? Which girl in her right mind will marry someone like you!" Ankita said.
"Waise ap ho kaun? Aur yahan kya har rahe ho? Don't you feel ashamed to come and steal in people's house?" Ankita said suddenly realizing that a stranger was in her house.
"Tum pagal ho? Do you even know whom you are calling a thief?" Rathore asked angrily now.
"Nahin I don't know who you are, nor I wanna know! I don't like to keep contact with your type of people! Waise you don't know who I am? If you had known you wouldn't have dared come and steal in my house!" Ankita said proudly.
Rathore had long time guessed that this must be Gia's sister, as Arjun had told him, but Arjun had forgotten to mention that Gia's sister was completely mental.
"Jee nahin? Kaun ho aap?" Rathore still asked because he knew that she wasn't going to keep quiet at all.
"Mera naam Ankita hein, aur mein ETF mein kaam karti hoon! Ek phone kiya nah, to abhi ke abhi you'd find yourself behind bars!" Ankita lied without any shame. Well of course, she was just a trainee and she'd soon be joining ETF to work with someone called ACP Sameer Rathore as a junior. But this man will hardly know the truth, so she lied without any conscience.
"Mein to dar gaya!" Rathore said with a false smile. He had to admit that this girl was something else, she had insulted ACP Rathore and now was lying that she worked in the ETF.
Before Rathore and Ankita could continue with their verbal fight, Riya came out of her room and simultaneously Arjun came out of Aryan's room and said, "Shall we go now? Have you packed everything?" To which Riya and Ankita nodded.
"Sam there are only four big suitcases, you take half and I'll take half!" Arjun said looking towards Rathore.
Ankita was shocked seeing that the man she had just insulted was a friend of Aryan's uncle. She went to stand next to Riya and asked who that man was. But before Riya could reply back, Arjun asked them to stop their useless chattering and to leave this apartment.
Riya took Aryan's in her arms, and one last look at her apartment, she left there with tears in her eyes. This had been her small home for a long time now. They got in Arjun's car and after one hour of driving, Arjun finally stopped them infront of a very big house. He got out and took their suitcases out of the car, soon some people came and took all the suitcases inside. Arjun signaled Gia to come forward and all went inside that house. Each had different feelings in their minds at that time…
Arjun was thinking and hoping that his mother wouldnt be too angry, or take it very badly when he told her the truth…
Riya was absolutely scared thinking what will happen in this house with her and Aryan…
Rathore was worried for his friend, but his mind was still fuming with Gia's insulting words. He was constantly saying to himself that he wasn't that old…
And finally Ankita was still reeling with shame and anger because that man should have said from the start that he was a friend, and thus she wouldn't have made such a big fool out of herself…
They all finally reached the front door, and Arjun opened it and all went inside…
