Damp squib

The regional round turned out to be a damp squib. The songs were in Hindi with only the regional flavor in the steps and dresses still somehow it couldn't keep up the bar raised by the previous few rounds.

Gauri-Hiten: Punjabi. The steps were bad and repetitive from start to end. They also forgot steps in the middle and never could get it back on track. 5/10

Hussain-Tina: Maharashtrian. Hussain was in character as usual and best at it. Tina was very good too though I agree with judges that she looked tired. Still they deserved more points. 8/10

Manav-Shweta: Naga. They were very good as usual and the theme and the dance had a nice touch. They seem to excel in dances from all regions😃 . 8.5/10

Bhaktyaar-Tanaz: Branding the dance as "South Indian" is one major flaw. They should specify which state it belonged as each state in South India has a diff. flavor. Other than few mudras it was just as usual the energetic jumps which they call dance. Hope at least once I get to see a graceful dance from them. They got more points than they deserved. 4/10

Yash-Gauri: UP. They were very good. Their number was peppy but the steps were as judges said filmi. It didn't have UP touch. It was bollywoodi, if I can say that. I am a fan of this Gauri. 7/10

Shweta without Raja: Rajasthani. Without Raja it is difficult to judge how they would have performed. Still Shweta was really good.

Altogether jyada maja nahin aaya

i agree! last year regional round was really good. this time woh baat nahi thi. anyways, good observation sp. regarding tanaaz-bakhtiyaar👏

I completely agree with you on all their performances.. Couldn't have said it better.. 👏 👏

The comedy round wast the best

2nd best was choreographers round

😛 Haan even i didn't enjoy the regional round as much as the others. Lagta hai Saroj aka Gabbar Singh's foul mood spoiled the round for everyone including the audiences. 😆

Perfect points for each couple except may be TB. I would give them 3/10.
