Digitization Phase II and the changes television industry looking forward to

Change' is what the television industry seems to be looking at with digitization being in full swing!! The phase one of the process saw 10 major cities including the metros getting the set top boxes installed. In Phase 2, nearly 38 cities will go through the process.

The second phase of digitization came into play from 1 April 2013. However, a proper data on the success rate of the move is yet to be derived.

So what can one expect with the Phase 2 of digitization completed? We atTellychakkar.com decided to get few queries answered.

Shaleen Malhotra (Actor- Arjun):
The phase one has been good, and I am sure that phase two will be good too. Plus makers get ample time to experiment before the whole process is in place. So, it will be a welcome change for them too. Phase two will be more like a shoe lace to sole look at the ratings as it is getting filtered now.
