Can't yet comprehend her character completely.

Is she really evil or just having some negative shades?

She's evil with some people but she's nice with her grandkids and son. It's too early for me to judge her will have to wait and see.

Not sure how to describe her but she fascinates me more than any other character so far. I don't think she is evil in the burning the bahu kind of way (at least I hope not) but she is very self centred which make her see herself as the focus of everything, so she can't understand Tusshar Bhai or Purvis' pain but can only see her own perceived insult. Her manipulative nature points to a sharp mind and I really want to know what means she used to convince her eldest son to return home. She probably does love her boys but the love is probably based on how much they bend before her with Manav being the exception. I don't see her as evil more self centred and manipulative and needing to be in control.

I think she is manipulative and likes to get her own way in all things.

She is the epitome of the old fashioned M-I-L. who is a control freak.

She emotes her character well and this is the reason why we do not like her.

I hope Chanchan does not succumb to her machinations.

i wont say she is completely mean..she has different shades..she can be a caring mom who cant be strict with her youngest son..can help the family with that piece of land during bad times..but at the same time she is very much self centered..as her catch line itself is bhagwan sabka bhala kare par shurwat mujhse kare..
