Why is Qazi given easy & peppy songs?

If you notice, Qazi has always been given very easy songs to sing, and most of them are very peppy tunes. This allows him not only to camoflage his poor singing abilities but also to project his dancing skills very well.

Is this fair?

Shouldnt he be tested for his singing skills as well?

Shouldnt he be asked to sing the more difficult songs like they give to Arijit, Anubhav or Shamit?

After all, they are competing for the same competition (not separately in a singing and a dancing competition)

its lik comparing a bathroom eveyrday singer to singers lik sonu, shaan, etc...

I came here to post the same thing. In tonight's US gala round Qazi sang that dhadkan song which was very easy. Arijit, Anibhav, Shamit sang very difficult numbers. Why is faculty giving easy songs to Qazi?

I think faculty wants to show audience how good they have prepared the contestant so they give songs according to how one can sing. If they give same level songs to everyone, it will bring the true singer out.

I agree with Javed Akhtar when he said that the song Shamit sang tonight 1 or 2 in that group even won't reach the antara of the song. It was clear that he was pointing towards Qazi. Qazi would get stuck in the mukhda with that song.

Why should Qazi be blamed? Faculty🤢 is to be blamed for first selecting him from 1 lakh or more people into FG and then always giving him easy numbers.

I think if Qazi is given Addat by jal, he can sing very well, coz both Qazi and Atif Aslam are rondos. and have similar voice quality.

agree wt ya , bluepnk...thts y is guess even the faulty is repenting their desicion ..they also want qazi out...im sure thy also selectd qazi on his acting bilities...& thy're now repenting

What was faculty thinking when they selected Qazi? Why would they select him on acting ability? Did they confuse FG with 'cinestar ki khoj'?

If you have proper knowledge of sur (the S-factor) then you can get X-factor with some guidance (style, clothing, make-up). Qazi already has lots of time for all that because he does zilch riyaaz. Ask him if he even knows the meaning of 'riyaaz'.

obviously not...hve u seen him ...he's always the last one to wake up & hardly does any riyaaz...qzi fans r so blind folded tht thy cant see tht qazi hardly puts in any effort coz he knws janta will save him evertime...there shld hve been a rule where if ur in danger more thn 3 times...ur automatially out of the contest...if this continues, qazi will win it, & i pity his joridar...i doubt how long the jodi will last...coz he jus cant sing duet songs at alll

Qazi isn't as disciplined as the other students. Okay, I know this sounds stupid but I think the other students are more focused whereas Qazi has the 'whatever happens happens' attitude. That's how he is and maybe that's why he's made it this far.

As for the songs, yeah, that's true. Anubhav is comfortable singing romantic, peppy numbers but tonight he was given a difficult pop number sung by KK. I think the pressure of singing that number affected his performance and he seemed uncomfortable throughout the performance. He pulled it off but it wasn't his best.
