for me its always geet geet geet DD looked the best in geet might be her dress in geet werent that good but the glow in her face in geet i have never seen after geet ended not even now 😉

and to add one more thing the glow which was in DD face was mainly due to GC
their chemistry and their understanding is way beyond words

i see you're point; but i don't think that the issue lies with the particular look for the two different characters, so much as it does the inadequacy of the creators to do a good job at making the leads look their best. Geet and Madhubala are only 2 years apart, so i really don't see why they have to make her look so down trodden for the show. And they were both middle class girls, i don't see the need to deliberately make MB look more homely, when Geet certainly didn't. I agree with one of the other members that mentioned that if the production's spending 9 lakhs per episode, they should atleast be able to get the leads a decent wardrobe.

Geet is very very special to me so i voted for GEET...

But i like DD in Madhubala too.. she is sooo Beautiful that she really doesn't need any extra ordinary costumes and coming to point that MB team has not utilized her beauty so well i think it could be that CVs wanna use her beauty at a perfect time which mean is Heroine track.. IF the heroine track is still ON..

yes she looked best in geet...&thr was always a smile &glow to her face which would light up the screens...but in MB she is more of a mature character&smiles less,& is more poised ,but in Geet days we used to get to see a part of her real self which was happy&lively.& a treat to watch...agree tht the make up department can concentrate a bit more on MB...afterall would love to c her as beautiful&glowing as in Geet.
