But more seriously, I don't think he is particularly interested in her in any romantic matter right now. I think whatever interest he had in her vanished once she came to the house. He put two and two together, and first his concern was that she was there for money scheme, and now he just wants the truth to be hidden.

He is is now pretty sympathetic to Meera, but at the same time he wants her to leave the house and Delhi. He doesn't want her to stick around.

He first offered to drop her off, because he is now pretty sympathetic to her, and also it would ensure that she was back home--easing Nandini's worries.

The women teased him about knowing Meera had gone out, but his reaction wasn't because of what they thought. He stuttered and lost composure for a bit, because he was taken aback. He could easily have said he ran into her, but considering the gravity of the scret he and Meera share (and had discussed) it's something that would make him stumble a bit before giving an apt answer.

His offer to take her to the airport also probably stems from the fact that he would want to ensure she does leave.

All that being said, obviously it's setting up and building their relationship. Just that practically, he probably isn't consciously particularly interested in Meera in a romantic manner right now..
