Mayor of Chandigarh is Ram's fan

Ram Kapoor may be currently in news for his film Mere Dad Ki Maruti but he has the small-screen to thank for his popularity. A source says that during the shooting of the film in Chandigarh, none other than the Mayor of the city, Raj Bala Malik, came to meet him on the sets. "She is an avid follower of his serial Bade Acche Laggte Hai and when she learned that he is shooting in her city she decided to meet him. She couldn't stop praising him. Ram was moved by the mayor's affection and love for him," adds the source. Ram confirms, "It was an honour to meet the Mayor who personally visited me on the sets while we were shooting for the film."
