The Clues:
-Ayaan, Asad and Zoya in one frame. Asad colors her red but Ayaan doesn't. Ayaan immediately goes over to Humeria and colors her red! The symbolism is obvious.
-Asad colors Zoya red twice but Zoya doesn't color him back. The third time they both color each other red. In other words, it'll be a while before Zoya realizes that she is in love and reciprocates that love. Asad on the other hand is already well aware of his feelings and will pursue her once or twice before she reciprocates. I think we are seeing Asad's 1st attempt at pursuing her these days.
-Chori lage joru, chora lage saala: Ahhh, notice the lyrics guys? Ayaan sees Zoya in a romantic light where as Zoya will see Ayaan as her saala (BIL). Also the song is from a movie called mere brother ki dulhan. While bhai could be either Ayaan or Asad, it probably is Asad because Ayaan refers to him as bhai..and because I like to indulge in wishful thinking.
-Ayaan prays for the Zoya naam ki musibat to stay with his bhai. Good job, Ayaan.
The Good:
-Asad's sexy salam. It was not over the top like Zoya's (which was in character for Zoya btw), it was so flirtatious and yet it was done with poise. That is so Asad.
-All the romance. Loved how Zoya's fingers lingered on his cheek when she was coloring him.
-The precap. Indulging Ms. Farooqui with sweets (whoa?!) and junk food. Loved Surbhi's smile in it...she is so natural. Pizza would've worked too.
-Razia does not want to kill Zoya. I am SUPRISED. đ˛
-Tanveer has something up her sleeve against Razia. Bad for Razia but good for us?
-Ayya finally meet. As a viewer, I'm relieved coz I was getting sick of the near misses.
The Bad:
-Ayya meet?! Uh oh. Still looking forward to it very much.
-I am turned off by Asad's little dance move. I already was when I watched SBS but I decided to wait (before clamoring) to see the context of the lil dance move. Asad Ahmed Khan does NOT do that. Plain and Simple. Asad especially does not do that when he is completely sober and bhaang-less. Asad does NOT hug a female best friend he hasn't seen in 20 years. Furthermore, during the handshake scene between Zoya and Ayaan, I felt like Asad was switching between KSG and Asad. That's not done. I'm probably being finicky but I love Asad's and Zoya's characters so much that I cannot handle minor deviations. Again, thumbs up for the Sexy Salaam though. Have him retain some of his akad, some poise CVs. Asad is calm and controlled by nature unless in situations of danger (or situations that involve Rashid)..his bathroom prank was calm and well thought out, his chasing Zoya and victory in it was calm and calculated. That's what makes Asad Asad. He does not bust out moves outta nowhere.
-Razia wants to send Zoya packing from India.
-Tanveer's buri nazar on AsYa. Expected.
That's all folks. I'm sure I missed out on some other stuff and symbolism but I'm also sure that other members will have posted on it by now.
Sometimes I wish that SBS didn't exist. The shock value of all these twists and turns (like Zoya to NY and Zoya face to face with Asad) would be so much greater on us viewers if we didn't know it before hand.
