What I am not liking about this show

It is good that PR has celebrated 1000 episodes. Great!
Though the show have lots of characters and each of them takes a turn to a new plot, most of the plots are so silly.
Why did Purvi have to sacrifice her love? And now that she has forsaken Arjun should she not give more attention to her husband in terms of love etc, this business of having Onir sleeping on the ground is bonkers!
Then Archana is in coma. Kind of reminds me of the days when Arnav was away during IPKKND. For days he was away and the story dragged and dragged. Thankfully here is not like that. I don;t like it when actors slip away from their committments.
But this Purvi, Onir, Arjun and Ovi quadrangle is getting a bit too frustrating. When will Ovi ever understand Purvi? and when will Purvi forget Arjun? and when will Arjun stop faking his pretence about Ovi's love? Sounds ridiculous and episode after episode we are subjected to this.
As it is we have passed 1000 episodes, so how many more of this same stupidity?

You are so right, CV's need to get a grip of themselves, this storyline on arjun, purvi, ovi, onir is getting boring and predictable. It is so highly ridiculous. When will it stop? it does no seem too close.

Cv's need to reunite pari with her real parents - Arjun and purvi. This is what viewers want. there is always a connection between these two actors. You can feel their emotions and presence when they are on screen.

They also need to let Ovi realise that the world does not evolve around her only. She must always get what she wants and if she doesn't, she attempts suicide. Therefore, they have to pamper her. She needs counseling to get over her insecurities and her spoilt behaviour. She is now shown to be the good girl and purvi the bad one.

The CV's need to get a new archana to stand alongside manav or just bring her back to the show fully, her being in coma will not help to keep viewers attached. as it is right now I am tired of Manav remembering and imagining and talking to a woman lying in a hospital bed who does not respond.

Punni is probably the only character that suits her role and is good to look at for now as she is what she is and does what she does brilliantly. She and mittal makes a good pair. Every other thing in PR just dont add up or is not logical

The show has lost a grip on any semblance of anything believable ...it was believable until about July-August 2012. It's been downhill since
Not only are storylines being repeated across shows but even within this show the same story is being tried out on different characters..much as they share clothes.

Women are caricatures of themselves
Men are just unmentionables
And children don't even count

This is NOT what a majority of people want to see I am sure. This may have worked in the dark ages. Last I looked that age left us a long time ago.

And ok. If you want to keep it unreal ...at least don't kill the fantasies of the majority of viewers.
Who is this show being put on for anyway? Is it even entertainment?

Brilliant post Sujata!!👏 PR has truly lost it !!
For me- entertainment is supposed to be uplifting SO I can no longer tolerate PR because it is totally downcasting!! If this is Ekta's idea of good/positive entertainment- then I would rather stick to watching cartoons- at least they give me good and fun laughs!!
