Love is stronger than a marriage.
Okay, so i dont know much about hindu mythology and i dont know if its disrespectful to use the gods/goddesses as connections (im super sorry if it is- im not Hindu , so i dont know much)
but i was watching a movie yesterday, and this was said
"When Krishna's name is taken, Radha is remembered. Though Krishna was married to Rukmini, Radha's name is taken besides Krishna, because Radha Krishna's love knew no limits" Likewise, Though Arjun is married to Ovi, who's name is remembered when Arjun is said? Purvi's name is. No matter what Ekta plans, the love between Arjun and Purvi is nothing compared to a marriage
I dont know, but this made me smile when i connected it :)

So what has this "sacrifice" achieved exactly '
I guess what I am trying to wrap my head around is the motivation behind Purvi's "sacrifice" . Maybe it's now, maybe it's years from now, but eventually the mother of a child she is bringing up as one of her own, as her own flesh and blood is going to find out that her child is in fact NOT her child. The man who is the father of her child is eventually going to find out that he was deprived of those priceless moments a man experiences when he takes care of the woman who is mother of his child.
I don't believe that sacrifice, in the name of love of makes a person heroic, or their love epic.
If it demands sacrifice, then it isn't love. There's a huge difference between adjusting / compromising and relinquishing / sacrificing ' between being selfless and utterly stupid. Quite simply experience has shown that your leave with nothing except memories - of what you gave up, and of the relationship for which you made that sacrifice.
Writers and Ekta Kapoor et al, why don't you just admit it- you no longer have a story =)
