I am kavitha. After a long time, a show has held me interested and hope it continues to do so. I am not a fan of any of the actors, but am here for the story. But of course most of the actors are doing great. Really great, especially the two leading ladies ..

Ani, a victim or a deceit ?

Indications are more towards the former one. Most probably

1) He was forced into the marriage, due to 'certain reasons'

2) Nandini is a good girl, but was not a kind of girl he would want ?

3) Another thought : Nandini - made into such a girl by the very same patriarchal society ? If so, now she has nothing to loose, to be held captive with those rules ? Is it ?

4) Meera - his destination. ?

5) Neither he could announce to the world, nor he could live without her ?

6) He is silent while at home and completely talkative with Meera --- a possibility of the above

7) It is most unfortunate if you can't be yourself at your 'house' ?

A small doubt ? Is Ani really dead ? Or he found out about Meera's pregnancy and is running away from the situation ?

Another doubt ? The flashbacks of Nandini !! were they completely true or were they mixed with some unfulfilled dreams ?

Yesterday's scene in Nandini's room was excellent. Both the ladies searching for their own answers without exact questions being asked !!

This is the reality of patriarchal, conservative societies. You can never be true to yourself because you have to always live according to the strict rules of society. Within this framework, it is easy to understand Ani's actions even if one does not condone them.

conservative family like that of balraj i think its hard to be yourself there. balraj make the rules and makes everyone live according to that its terrible he doesnt allow his daughters to talk to her friends, wear jeans or do a job its awful. anirrudh also was not himself he was not his lively self in his own house as nandini described him to meera.
