hmm i noticed something yesterday itself..
Uma ben is a very strong opinionated and arrogant person.. She doesn't bow before anyone.. She doesn't indulge anyone unless she wants to. She hates when things go against her wishes and she will try her damnest to destroy the ones opposing her as was clear from her oath before Chhan Chhan..
BUT yesterday when she berates her son for bringing along the friend whom she disproves her way of behavior was very different. way way softer.. she hates the friend and does grumble.. but is she coercing the son to give him up? nah.. cz that friendship seems pretty long time one.
so that means despite her disapproval she gives in for her youngest son..
And the other thing is, Manav seems to take his mom with a very jovial affectionate attitude.. he takes her scoldings good naturedly and listens with one ear and forgets with the other and does exactly as he pleases...
the best part is when he undermines her authority in an affectionate way Uma ben doesn't get in to her epic fits of anger!! she isn't even riles up! she writes it off with affectionate disapproving shake of her head!
ps : from what i saw of the launch seems like all her other sons who r elder have been controlled under her thumb.. and they r most likely not having a very easy relationship with her as she is clearly dominating all their lives, married and otherwise..
but Manav being the youngest seems to have been indulged and allowed to be an exception to the rules..
So when Manav will want Chhan Chhan and will demand for it to be done she most likely will not be able to refuse no matter how much she hates Chhan Chhan...
kinda jsut like in the friend's place...
but Uma ben will quietly try to get rid of Chhan Chhan after fulfilling her son's wish first jsut like she is planning with the friend!
