Rithvik Dhanjani aka Arjun of Pavitra Rishta Holi is one festival which I haven't really been able to celebrate much over the years. Having spent so many years of my life abroad, I haven't had the opportunity to celebrate this festival much. But I do really look forward to celebrating this festival given half the opportunity. There is this one particular memory I have of Holi when I was celebrating the festival at a friends' place. We were chasing each other around the backyard in an attempt to put color on each other. Finally, after getting tired of chasing me around the house, they just pushed me into some buckets that were filled with color and I ended up being covered in all the colors of the rainbow! While I am sure they found it very funny, I looked like a 3 year old child had dumped all his finger painting colours over me! Irrespective, I still love celebrating Holi with my friends and family.
Asha Negi aka Purvi of Pavitra Rishta It is always a wonderful feeling to watch people during Holi. Since this festival is probably the most colorful one that we celebrate in India, it also reminds us of the different shades of life. I am not a big fan of celebrating Holi with colors, as everything gets so messy by the end of the day! This year, I am looking forward to the holiday as I will be celebrating Holi in Mumbai with my friends and colleagues for the first time. However, my most favourite memory of Holi was 2 years back when I brought in the day with my entire family in my hometown, Dehradun. The best part of this festival is that everyone sets their grudges aside and enjoy the occasion with everyone.
