Meerra reads Shantanu's diary and tells everyone that Shantanu is a very good poet and will recite some poems now. Alaknanda also joins him. Ammaji gets angry and stops all this. Meerra and Abhimanyu share a few romantic moments. During the vidaai, Meerra gifts a Solhah Singaarr box to Sonakshi, which Alak-nanda had bought for the dulhan. Suddenly the jhumar in the hall falls. Nobody is hurt. Alaknanda is brought to the hall and everyone accuses her for the apshagun. Shantanu stops everybody and defends Alaknanda.
