I honestly don't know what Ila's problem is. She would rather have the satisfaction of punishing someone who accidentally killed her cow over accepting that it was an accident and letting him pay for it.
If her son was awake because he was hungry, whose fault is that? She could have swallowed her pride, taken the payment and provided for him with it. But nooo, her stubbornness won't allow her to think of anyone, even her own child. 😕
And even when he knew from Saras that he was the one who killed their cow, still the kid thought of how uncomfortable Saras must be outside. 😲 It's not that he didn't feel bad about the animal's life, but he still knew how to feel for humanity. The mother should take a lesson from her son.
