Have to say as a girl and a Gujarati, I'm quite offended at the backwards and old fashioned comments being made in this forum. So Kumud being a girl cannot expose her back because she is a GIRL yet I would love to see anyone here opposing Saras showing off his hot body. Are we all women?? You guys are always covered head to toe? If I wear a short skirt it makes me cheap? What era are you all living in? Apparently all village girls are always covered. Have you all been to villages? They may wear saris but they aren't always appropiately dressed. Newsflash...many women don't even wear undergarments. It's true! But that's their way of living.

Kumud is meant to be a sensual and intimidating woman. Now if she wants to show off her back then how is it harming us? She's all covered waist to toe. Her blouse is short but she is covering what she has to. If you guys bothered to watch HDDCS then even Nandini used to wear see-through dupattas and had some cleavage showing. Stop being so hypocritical please! If you can drool over the bare-bodied man then let the MAIN heroine of the show have her own distinct style. Heck my parents have raised a fuss about it but young girls are seeming to act as if showing your back is the biggest sin ever. Now don't see this as a Jennifer fans outburst (PLEASE!!!)...more than that I'm offended being a girl, being a Kumud and SLB fan.

There are so many leading ladies in tv who were things that are more " glamourous" then Kumud.

I swear [:|} She's a village girl so she can't show off her back 😳 Her orthodox family or the villagers don't have an issue but the educated online fanbase do 😳

Let's drool over Saras' biceps instead. He's allowed to expose ☺️

Can I just say I love this post the core! ❤️❤️❤️I am a Gujarati too and I have been back to India and my mum has told me women don't wear undergarments and most women a lot older than Kumud's character wear low back blouses... its completely natural and normal in villages.
I think she looks stunning in her outfits and she portrays a beautiful Gujarati girl perfectly! ❤️

I agree with u in the case that every women has a right to wear whatever she wants.
But the attitudes of the ppl u see! Uggh! What can I say? Their eyes will reach to the revealing places.
I am in support with a women's freedom but every single person won't agree with me, will they?

They don't man and even my kakis in Rajkot wear revealing blouses. People need to get out of that mindset that village belles are all innocent and covered up. Plus Kumud is different and she should have own distinct style.

The attitudes of people, including women themselves is what makes women so vulnerable in India even today. Kumud wears more than enough of what is required to make herself look graceful. There's no issue with her dressing, its the issue with how people look at it.

yes exactly!
I am not from India. I am from Nepal. But you can't believe what the government has done here! We can't wear shorts! If we do, the police is free to put us into jail.
I mean what the hell is that?? People's attitudes are downright disgusting these days!

Really?? 😕 Is this just for women?

See these are the mindsets we have to change, not encourage. I really thought todays generation will try to get out of these backwards thoughts.

There is NOTHING on a girl's back which she should have to hide out of shame 😳 The front I understand but what's so special about the back?
