Seen many such dupatta scenes and have found it weird when the female leads become overtly embarassed and when they behave as if they've been disrobed... esp when the said dupatta isn't even used by them for covering anything. In this case, Kumud's reactions would have made sense if she had worn dupattas that were not transparent and if she draped it to cover herself...but her thin, transparent dupattas serve no purpose apart from being accessories to the clothing.. so if it falls off it should technically not be such a big deal...

its been like this in practically every indian show. The girl gasps in horror when her dupatta happens to slip off and the male lead is seeing her body just as he sees it even with the veil on so yeah its no biggie anymore, happens all the time in all shows and yes its annoying but when you've watched enough indian shows to get used to it, you barely notice anymore. Except i will say that its really blatant in Saraswatichandra because all the other sisters are wearing dresses that cover their torso and then theres Kumud who's torso and back is showing. Stands out quite a bit to be honest but oh well, there are countless flaws in every indian show and this is a common one
