No ILD ji..its exactly the same thing...ETT was technically not Salman's movie...It was YRF's movie...Kabir Khan was the director and Salman was the actor...If u are speaking about the technicality...let me tell u...Salman's only business in the movie was to act as per the director's orders, collect his pay check and go...he had absolutely no business telling anyone what to edit in the movie...there is an editing team for doing that...but thats the technical part...the theory of it...coming to what happens in practical...Actors do weild their star powers all the time and throw their weight around...not only salman...all the major stars including Shahrukh do that...Coming to SRK..technically SRK's job was to host , collect his pay check and leave...but if requested by a veteran actor for his speech not to be edited...Could SRK have used his star power to do that..absolutely and he did...Just one request from him to let AK's speech stay..did it...

Would Salman in SRK's place have done the same...absolutely...Salman would have done exactly what Shahrukh did...

I think it was a smart step by Shah...Item numbers have indeed become a sensitive topic these days. I hope though that the lyrics are also supervised just like the choreography is being altered. ⭐️
