I am silent reader ... I havent written anything since 5 years lol maybe last one was a Armaan Riddhima.

I couldn't point at the fact that bothered me…..was it the fact that she was getting more attention than me by the Najma and Phuphi ….. or the fact that he had eyes fixed on her rather than me.

No no no I am just insecure ….. I have always been. I guess because I have never had a complete family.

Lost in her thoughts she did not realize that the very person who always had his eyes only for her was watching her.

Like every morning in the Khan household everyone was seated in their respective places having breakfast.

Najma elbowed her mum….. Dilshad gave her a smile and looked at Asad who was busy reading his newspaper.

Dilshad- Asad beta I wanted to talk to you

Asad- Ji Ammi say

Dilshad- Beta I think it is time we got Najma married

Asad choked on his tea….. he was not expecting this …. His tamatar …. His sister …. It never crossed his mind that she would ever Ammi and him.

Dilshad continued Najma has found herself a very good boy and before you react she had informed me about him way before she started dating him and I was okay with it.

Asad was furious but did not show his anger. He agreed to meet the boy and his family the next day.

Tanveer and Zoya were esthetic and congratulated Najma.

Najma smiled …. But her smile did not reach her eyes because her bhaijaan had not congratulated her. This did not get unnoticed by Zoya.

Zoya being Zoya made her way to Asad's room.

She knocked and as usual Asad did not answer.

She took the risk of entering his room.

Asad was standing by the window and staring at the Moon. He had noticed Zoya's presence next to him but he did not move.

Zoya- Mr. Khan main jaanti hoon …

Asad- Aap kuch nahi jaanti …. (he was teary eyes)

Zoya- Aap hurt hain ki Najma ne aapse yeh baat share nahi kiya right

Asad did not expect Zoya to understand what he felt but was pleasantly surprised that she had understood him.

Zoya looked at his pain stricken eyes and continued … Mr. Khan Najma must have been scared to tell you atleast be happy about the fact that she made Phuphi aware of it before taking any step. She has all those values that you have instilled in her don't doubt her values…. She is still your tamatar.

Asad smiled …. This took Zoya by surprise.

Asad- Aap zab aisi baatien karti hain na mujhe yakeen nahi hota ki wahi Ms. Farooqi hain jo cheesy shayaris bolti hai

Zoya- Mr. Khan aap meri shayari ko aise insult nahi kar sakte.

Both of them burst out laughing.

Asad- Zoya …. I mean Ms. Farooqi …. Najma iss family ki jaan hai agar woh chali gayi to yeh ghar kitna suna ho jaayega Ammi toh ek dum shant ho jaayengi. Yeh ghar ghar nahi rahega …. Haan yeh baat sahi ki I am hurt as she did not share it with me but I understand I am not emotionally inclined person that would understand these things…. But I just don't know how to react

Zoya- Mr. Khan you are mistaken you are very emotional … you just act like an angry young man and you do not need to think how to react …. Yeh to naturally aana chahiye … jaaye aur jaake Najma ko hug kijiye

Asad- Hug please Ms. Farooqi aap toh jaanti hain main yeh mushy cheezen nahi karta hoon

Zoya- Allah Miyan ! Whats wrong with you Mr. Khan …. Main kaunsa aapko mujhe hug karne ko keh rahi hoon … Najma aapki sister hai.

It dawned upon Zoya the second she said it what she had actually said.

Asad just smiled and left the room to go and see his Tamatar.

Dilshad stood outside Asad's room and heard the whole conversation and entered the room.

Dilshad- Zoya thank you

Zoya- Kiss baat ke liye Phuphi

Dilshad- mere bete mein aakal dal ne ke liye

Zoya- you are welcome phuphi …. I am glad aapne realize kiya ke aapke bete mein akal nahi hai

Both of them had good laugh.

Asad and Najma stood watching them laugh.

Najma- Bhaijaan meri shaadi se pehle kya aap mera ek kaam karege

Asad- Jo tum kaho tamatar

Najma- Mujhe bhabi laakar denge …. She said this while looking at Zoya

Asad looked at Zoya and Dilshad hugging each other and her sisters welled up eyes seeing this.

It all made sense …. His incomplete life felt complete.

Zoya saw Asad looking towards him …. She smiled and he smiled back.

They felt connected …. They both felt complete.

Tanveer realized her Jammy was content now. She felt happy and went to her room to pack her bags and leave the Khan family.

That was fantastic !!!
