Which is your favorite Women-Centric Movies of Bol

Mother India -- an all time classic. This movie never gets old, power of women is defined in this movie. She can be gentle but when circumstances gets tough she can be robust.

How can you forget the movie DOR...with Gul Panag and Ayesha Takia...such a wonderful movie about two strong women...👍🏼...I love all the movies in this list but Kahani is my fav from these...

glad Dor is mentioned here. interesting this was first offered to kareena. but none the less ayesha takia was wonderful.

They are all such different genres.

I voted for Kahani, because I love thrillers with suspense and twists. It is rare that women get good thrillers. But Damini is noteworthy as it was a women centric film well before time. And Tabu deserves her accolades too because she was the first few heroines to break away from the stereotypical bandwagon.

But members have suggested so many good women centric films. Instead of limiting ourselves to a frivolous poll - maybe we should have a good discussion on women centric films.
