i guess it can help with expressing things through the eyes and through body language...which are important aspects of acting...then therz other aspects like screen presense and dialogue delivery which cannot be taught by learning classical dance ofcourse...

i think it certainly helps...

Aish is a great classical dancer and so is Rani.. but someone like bebo or PC or even Vidya who arenot great dancers.. I don't see how they are any worse heroines/actresses than Aish or Rani. . So I don't think it's that important but it won't hurt to be a good dancer because one reason why I like Aish is because of her good dancing skills.
