I haven't really made a post on any of the episodes till date but today I had to simply cuz I felt that it was one of the finer episodes of the show.
One can't help but feel for Saras during the beginning of the episode. He longs for a family like Kumud. He has had such a brutal and harsh childhood and on the sider, when he sees Kumud's family, his heart is filled with pain. Pain, cuz he never had such a happy and jovial family around him. I'm still pretty much shocked at how he still respects Gumaan despite what she has done to him. But the reason that he still respects her is his own mother, Saraswati. We saw a smile on his face when he was playing with Kumari and Yash. He wants and deserves the happiness. He just wants some peace in his life.
What can you really say about Kumud's parents? They are people I can connect to cuz my parents are so similar. They're so caring, understanding and loving. Kumud's father just lights up the screen with his presence. He's a man full of life.
The scene where Kumud asks him why does he want to support her? It actually means a lot. What does he mean to her that he wants to share her pain? What does he mean to her that he doesn't wanna leave her alone? They are entangled in a bond. A bond that can't be named. It's a bond of pain and sadness but, it's also a bond of care and attraction. Yes it's only attraction not love(: Love needs a lot more understanding and time. That one scene was an indication to Saras. He is getting majorly attracted towards her.
And now the reason I liked the episode. It's one misunderstanding abolished. Atleast now, Saras has understood why Kumud is so hurt. She had even dreamt of her future life, her prince charming and that letter shattered all her dreams. He realized the reason of her behavior. And even though his 'sorry' didn't reach her, the fact that he now has no grudges against her is a real relief. Everything is clear from his end.
I do feel that their happier moments aren't far away. There isn't really much to be afraid of after seeing the precap. It's obvious that he isn't going to leave. I somehow have a feeling that we'd get to see some lighter moments soon. Their tale is definitely going to have happiness and romance and not just sadness. The misunderstandings are clearing, they're making way for love.
