@Jyo: But that is the point. The abortion will not be "simple" from any angle because it will be the hardest decision of their lives! Personally, I don't mind what they decide as long as they justify abortion as a valid option through one of the characters. They made Shobha sound heartless because she suggested it, because Aarti's emotional speech about faith and not killing her baby totally overpowered Shobha's reasoning. I don't mind if they find an alternative and go for the operation, but I just want one of the characters to do a proper argument for the abortion...one which actually makes Aarti think about it, because otherwise it is a bad message to give people who are watching. Medical complications are something to take very seriously and even if they decide to continue the pregnancy, the gravity of the medical condition should be properly dealt with. That is all I ask for!
