He's Amazing ~ Part 70

Arnav call out to her. She then realised it was time for Arnav's announcement. Khushi walked over to Arnav and stood beside him. All the lecturers sat down, so did the head governor, who at the moment was the only other person other than ArHi, La, NK, Sia and Ayaan that knew the truth of their relationship.

"Ladies and gentlemen, there is something which we have been hiding from you for a while, even though you don't really need to know, we would like you to know. If you were in my business and mathematics class you would know that I am engaged. I would just like to let you know that I had been lying. I'm married."

There was a sudden outbreak of gasps and a few people began muttering. Khushi assumed that they had added what they knew together and figured out what Arnav was going to say next.

"I just want you all to know, that I am married and that to, to none other than Khushi."

The whole hall went silent for a moment. Lavanya began to clap and everyone followed her lead. Arnav wrapped his arm around Khushi's waist and kissed her cheek and everyone continued to cheer and clap, more enthusiastically now. The other lecturers clapped as well and Arnav noticed that Sonia was sitting there, looking highly grumpy. Khushi too noticed and remembered that Sonia was still around. Arnav let go of Khushi and then began to speak again.

"As I'm sure many of you remember, I along with you am leaving and will not come back at the start of next semester. Although it doesn't bother you, I would just like to say that, you guys were the only class I ever taught and ever will teach as I am going back to my own business full time. But it was a pleasure to come and teach such a talented group of people. Also, the staff here are amazing and I would just like to thank all of you for being such a help for me. thank you everyone for the amazing time I have had here. Thanks for listening, that is all."

Everyone cheered for Arnav and he took Khushi and they left the stage. Khushi took her seat again. The head governor came to the centre of the stage for the last time.

"Please stand."

Everyone stood up.

"I am pleased to announce that you are the graduating class of 2013!"

Everyone cheered and threw their hats, mortarboards, up in to the air.

"There are refreshments at the back of the hall, help yourself. But before that I would just like to express how proud I am of all of you. There are people here who we didn't think would manage to graduate this year, but you have done it and showed us all that you can do it. I know many of you now will go out into the world and look for jobs that will help you get yourself a bright future. Others I know will go into other more prestigious universities to do your masters. I wish you all the best for whatever you choose to do and may you all succeed. "

There was an outbreak of cheers for the head governor and he smiled down at everyone. People made their way to the back of the hall to help themselves to the refreshments. Many people came over to Arnav and Khushi to congratulate them on their marriage. Khushi saw many of the girls looking over at her and whispering and couldn't help but feel slightly self-conscious. Lavanya came and stood beside her.

"Khushi, don't worry about them. They're just jealous that you bagged yourself jiju. I mean they all thought you were the quiet one that didn't care about anything and now look. You've got married to one of the best looking men that they've ever seen."

"That's true. Thank you Lavanya! What would I do without you?"

"If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have even go to have dinner with jiju that first day and you would probably still be single."

"Probably!"

Khushi hugged Lavanya and Arnav decided to step in.

"Khushi, if you hug Lavanya all night, what will happen to me?"

Khushi looked at Arnav and shook her head. She moved forward and pulled his cheeks.

"You're so cute Arnav!"

It was an hour after the graduation and everyone had left the university hall and were now in a hotel. The graduation after party was being held there. The graduates where all their and their friends who didn't attend the university were there too. There were many people Khushi and Lavanya had never met before. They were all freed from their robes and now Khushi's sari was the centre of attention. All the girls were asking Arnav if it was possible for them to order something similar.

"AR designs has some amazing creations if I do say so myself. I would place orders for you, however I wish for my wife to be able to wear pieces, which are exclusively for her. Sorry."

Khushi smiled and Arnav slipped his arm around her waist and pulled her close. He whispered to her.

"Do you want to dance?"

"Yes please!"

Arnav led Khushi onto the dance floor. Many other couples were already there dancing away at the soft tunes.

Arnav wrapped his arms around her waist and Khushi placed her arms around his neck and they swayed slightly. Khushi hid her face in Arnav's shoulder as they danced and simply inhaled his scent.

"Are you ok?"

"I'm fine, just a little bit tired. And I've had enough of all the girls looking at me."

"Why shouldn't they look at you?"

"I'm not saying they shouldn't I just don't like it."

"I know what you mean baby. I don't like the extra attention either."

"I remember, it was what you said the day I first looked up and saw how amazingly handsome you were."

"Really? You never had looked up at me before that day?"

"Nope."

"How did you resist!"

Khushi slapped Arnav's back lightly and he chuckled.

"I love you baby."

"I love you too!"

Khushi pulled herself out of Arnav's embrace and smiled. She looked around the hall and noticed a few people still looking at her and Arnav. She couldn't help but feel a surge of pride rush through her body. Once she was the girl no one looked at, and now she was married to the man who was probably the best looking in all of India.

"Arnav, I really am blessed to be married to you."

"And I'm blessed to have you."

Khushi moved in to kiss Arnav when she noticed someone over his shoulder. She pulled away from Arnav and rushed towards the other person. Arnav turned around and watched Khushi. He saw her rush up to another man and then stood before him. He had a kind face and seemed pleased to see Khushi.

"Nikhil! What are you doing here?"

"Hey Khushi! I came for the graduation after party to congratulate all of you!"

"Why didn't you tell me you were coming?"

"I wanted to surprise you guys."

Lavanya, Sia, Arnav, Ayaan and NK joined Khushi and Nikhil. Khushi turned around to see all of them standing behind her.

"Guys, Look who's here!"

NK and Ayaan looked at each other confused, not recognising the stranger. Khushi noticed NK and Ayaan's confused faces.

"This is Nikhil a friend of mine, who was studying with us and then he moved to America."

"Hi Nikhil, it's er, good to see you again."

"You too Lavanya. Hi Sia"

"Hello Nikhil."

Khushi could sense the tension between her friends and Nikhil.

"Nikhil, this as you know is Arnav, my husband. This is NK, my brother in law and Lavanya's boyfriend. And this is Ayaan, Sia's boyfriend."

"Hi NK and Ayaan. Hello Arnav."

"So I finally get to meet your famous ex boyfriend Khushi."

Khushi looked at Arnav confused. Nikhil looked at Arnav, his kind face had suddenly turned dark.

"Arnav…"

"Why have you come here today Nikhil?"

"To wish my friends the best for their futures and to celebrate their success with them."

"None of them want you here, so you can go."

"ARNAV!"

"Khushi, stay out of this."

"Look Arnav, I understand why you don't like me, but hey, what happened, is in the past. We've all moved on."

"I still don't want you anywhere near my WIFE."

"Baby…"

"Lavanya, please take Khushi away for here."

Lavanya held Khushi's arm and she and Sia pulled Khushi away.

"Look, I get it, you're her husband, but what are you playing at mate? No need to act tough to impress her."

"I know how much you hurt her. And I don't like it that you're around her."

"You what I think Arnav. I think you're jealous that she ever shared anything with me. You hate the fact that I touched her before you did."

"I know for a fact nothing happened between you two."

"But I still got to kiss her, hold her in my arms before you did, didn't I."

Arnav moved forwards his fists clenched, but NK and Ayaan pulled him back.

"Bhai, leave him, he's winding you up, he's not worth it. Leave him."

"Yeah, Arnav, leave him he isn't worth it. Remember Khushi loves you, only you."

They let go of Arnav and he looked at Nikhil.

"Stay away from my wife. Other wise…"

"What, what will you do to me?"

"I'll end your existence!"
