Was I the only one who caught on to the innuendo(ish) dialogue in the last scene?

Kumud barging in to the room (aka Saras' life) quite secretly and getting uncomfortable at seeing him bare bodied was oozing with LOTS of tension. She doesn't turn around straight away. Now come on, any girl seeing a man with such Greek-God type bare back would not take her eyes off straight-away. I mean do we? Thank God they didn't show her go 'Ooi maa!!' at the sight of seeing a man half-naked. We all like our eye-candy and Kumud is no different there.

What followed was a short intense banter where Saras asks 'Kya chahiye tumhe?' to which Kumud reluctantly replies 'Tumhe... (long pause) tumhe chot lagi hai'. Both my sister and I gave a 'haila-type' look when she said 'Tumhe'...! It was quite subtly covered up but you couldn't miss it amongst the tense atmosphere. It had an underlying meaning (physically, emotionally however 'ally' you want to see it).

And daaang she hits the right nerve. She tells him 'share your pain with someone who understands you'. Deep in his heart he wants it to be her. Think about it, till now the guy has kept the anger and pain to himself. If he is hurt, he takes it out on himself but here's a woman who is making him unleash that frustration on her. He is speaking rudely to her, acting harshly. Maybe silently he craves that attention? She went down on her knees for him (Which has to be one of my favourite Saras-Kumud scenes so far, it was so touching) and is seeking out his attention. He's not living life, he's just existing and someone else is finally making him vent it out.

This is one rare couple where the emotional tension is just as strong as the physical. It's kind of entwined. They can't fathom why they give each other pain but at the same time it makes them want each other even more.

hahaaa reema...when I saw ur title I was like huh?? 😕
but as usual the post mast che...😃
that "tumhe..." part was very well executed by Jenny and that tension was visible...emotional ya physical but amazing scene that was and I am also glad they didnt do any cliche stuff...overall I loved the epi...pehle that mandir wala scene between Saras-Kumud...amazing job by both...loved how Saras asked Kumud that she must have also seen that pachtava in his eyes, but will she forgive him for that?? both have made their faults and given each other pain, yet they cant seem to neither forgive each other nor go away from each other...their rishta is something which cannot be just defined in words...

loved the scene between Saras and Dukhba as well...she clearly understood him well enough...he remembers everything but is scared of making new relations...

and finally that last bit when Kumud once again hit the right chord asking him to share his pain with someone who understands him, somewhere deep down he knows ke she is the first ever person to kinda understand him but he has not yet accepted it...cannot wait to see how this plays out...just that I dont want to see more physical exertion...lets see how the hide and seek game plays out and what happens when Kumud asks him to go back...will she stop him this time or let him go away??

So beautifully written and exactly my thoughts!! You nailed each and every bit! 👏

There is a longing they both have for one another, but neither has rightfully been able to understand it, admit it and disclose it ⭐️ Can't wait for the time when they do!!!

And you hit the nail with those sharp words. Kind of reminds me of Heathcliff-Catherine from 'Wuthering Heights'.

Yeh I have ajeeb gareeb titles 😛

I loved how with the physical they really touched an emotional chord at the end of the scene where Kumud hit an untouched nerve. They feel each others pain without actually knowing each other.

The part where both Dukhbaa and Saras sang the song was so beautiful. My mum started singing it too lol! She obviously has heard it in her own childhood <3

I don't want too much physical exertion either but I can understand at this point Kumud is kind of throwing Saras off his guard and keeps challenging him. I don't see Kumud stopping him this time though, could be wrong!

Thank you again :))

This phase is the most intriguing part. Both understand each other on a deeper level but can't seem to understand or accept the reasons.

You know what Reema, I hit the like button of your posts even before reading them coz I know whatever you write is gonna reflect my thought completely plus your writing is so crisp and accurate! He WANTS her around him, asking for him, caring for him..something he hasnt got all these years..You think his heart didnt melt at the sight of her sitting on her knees, holding her ears and saying sorry? Cmon! One of the reason he is avoiding looking at her is the fact that he knows he will see genuine repentance in her eyes and he might falter from his resolve to not forgive her... He knows what she did was unintentional and she will not be at peace with herself unless she gets his forgiveness.. He has never been selfish up until this point..now he's being..I dont blame him for that coz he has been alone for large part of his life.. Now he wants her to look out for him..Now he wants her to be the one who can take all the pented anger and frustation he is letting out of his system...and she is..silently so far..She proved that she is courageous in true sense.. Going down on knees and begging for forgiveness is something that takes a lot of courage..I am sure he secretly saluted her for that.afterall he couldn't do that even in writing..
