Reason being, it's a dance show, we want to see dance and learn about contestants from what we see at present on this show. They all should have had their AV's shown in the first episode where they could have talked about how they met, their lives and future etc. That would have been enough to set the scene for the viewers.

i agree all such things whether prsnl or emotnl shudn't b brought in NB. but once or twice its ok but there shudn't b overdose of this. bcoz even reality shows need drama but that shud b in limit & shudn't b in every oder epi & doesn't luk like fake.
i don't've prob wid jay-mahi's house loan talking once in a while but doing it more than once even twice.i m not liking. and i like Jay-Mahi esply Jay v.much. i always think of him as quite honest.

and talking abt them only. i don't think so that ppl targeted them only. these type of posts started cuming just from past 2-3 weeks wen ppl r constantly hearing abt their house loan whether twice or thrice on NB stage or in press conference or in AVs like parde ke peeche. its really getting overboard.i wudn't liked it if Ravi'd done coochie- cooing of proposal & if was constantly hearing abt it & wud'd asked them 2 stop.😕

i just wanna say that if it is indeed true that jay-mahi are so much in loan...then i believe that you guys should check their photos on twitter, where they are having dinner now and then in hotels etc... when you are sooo much worried about your loans, that this is even shown in the main show AV, and not in parde ke peeche as they showed for jaisheel's work life in parde ke peeche, then they should cut down sooo much expenses as any normal non-celebrity couple or family do.

as i said earlier, they did not have any sympathy ground, so the creatives use this as a card to get them in good light as there were rumours that they are paying people to vote for them. ( this is also for point, they have home loan, still paying people to vote for them)

TM,

I do agree with your essential argument- that you dislike seeing all these unnecessary glimpses into the personal lives of these celebs. I don't like it either.

But rationally, I wouldn't credit Jay and Mahi entirely with this- every reality show thrives on our voyeurism, they believe that the aam junta laps up the emotional heavy-duty stuff that sends TRP's up the roof. It's like watching an intensely melodramatic movie that has a standard plot- romance, rona-dhona, suffering and finally winning against the odds.

Moreover, can you think of any "reality" show that stuck completely to its genre, that was genuine and didn't have a script? Please. I am not saying it's right, but that's just the way things are.

And as others pointed out, we can't really absolve the other participants of this accusation, case in point- Ravi's proposal on national television.

And even though I am not a Jay-Mahi fan, I will readily admit that they are putting in a lot of work, are good dancers and deserving finalists.

That was my two cents:)

I feel like it's their lives and they can show us what they want to, and it was not only Jai-Mahi, but also other people's 'problems' that were shown and maybe they're trying to show us that Nach Baliye is more than just a dance show and the importance it holds for the contestants, and besides I think it helps me to connect better with the participants and show

everyone has shown their personal story in the show..
if Jay-Mahi wins they will win and get votes on base of their performance..not cause of their need.
