No, Jivvy will not help Khushi bring Shyam's truth out.

A husband is supposed to fight for his wife's justice - I believe that right/responsibility (however you want to look at it) belongs to Arnav. I don't want to have Jivvy interfere in this relationship.

And I don't want Khushi to try to bring out Shyam's truth either. I HATED that in the show. Arnav has given her punishment (though with what right, I do not know), then why go through the trouble of getting justice for herself? And besides, ASR is aware that Shyam's not trustworthy - so Khushi doesn't have to worry about Anjali's safety either (although I would be playing with colors if Anjali were to die).

Thanks for reading and commenting! It means a lot to me and always brings an upward curve to my lips 😃

wow he sure is taking full liberty of freedom from anji and arnie money
man its days like these you just wanna torture this guy slowly slowly
not because he is lusting after another woman but that he is cheating on his wife with god only knows who
i think husbands or wives who cheat shouldnt be forgiven so easily especially when they dont seem to stop
whats the point of being married if you cant be faithful
waise kya baat hai azmih what you said was so true
its true in india you view ghar jamai as not being very respected
but in his case the man is worshiped by his wife and revered by the family odd na
she so got him there this girl is fantastic yaar
did he really think he could impress this girl just because she is young hell no it seems she saw something what none else said or saw before
and to be fair she never meant to be derogatory just asked him how can he be a ghar jamai
i think azmih will make sure (innocently) that shyam is put in such spots more and more often
abhi toh bach gaye parr kab tak bachu
great this ASR can be just so frustrating sometimes
hope with azmih being there he shall start to think about the possible innocence of his wife
well khushi not long to go i see for this pretence to be over and then you will go forever from his life
lets see what he thinks of that

Chavvi16 - Thanks for the enormous comment - you've made my day...or night. :D

I don't plan on making Azmih do something about him - I think that Arnav is the one who's supposed to act on a cheating brother-in-law. And I don't want Khushi trying to prove herself innocent since Arnav never gave her a chance. I didn't like how they portrayed it in the show, so in this story, I want to do it my way. :D

I completely agree with you about adulterous married people (man or woman). I'm not married yet - not even close to that age - but when I do start looking at potential husbands, I will prioritize loyalty and faithfulness above looks/charms/education, etc. I would never be able to forgive my husband if he cheated on me - after marriage, absolutely not, but before marriage would be something I'd have to think about (i want to be the first and last woman in his life, but I won't hold his previous actions against him or anything...it will just take me time to get around the fact that I'd shared my partner with someone else).

What's the point of being married if you can't be faithful - That is a good question...being faithful is the MOST important thing in a marriage (from my opinion), but I think marriage is more than being faithful. It's about being in a team - knowing that someone's going to be there for you all the time; knowing that if you fail, you will be able to find solace in someone's arms, and that if you pass, you will be able to see greater joy on their face than yours. It's about giving someone your warmth - knowing that there will be someone who will always need you and seek out for you in a room full of people. It's about fighting and shouting curses at each other, only to make up quickly and passionately. It's about providing for each other and getting so attuned as to create (or adopt) a new being, supporting him/her and raising him/her together. It's about wanting to fall asleep in someone's arms, listening to his soft snoring in the middle of the night, and waking up to his bright eyes and innocent face in the morning. Or at least, that's how I imagine marriage to be at the very basic level - family does play a big part in it, but I haven't thought much on that. I may be wrong, but I'll let you know once I experience it.

Azmih was innocent when questioning Shyam and he was obviously put in a spot, but I don't want Azmih to help Arnav (note: not Khushi) reveal Shyam's truth - Arnav made the mess, so he has to get out of it now.

Unfortunately, I won't have Shyam be in any more fixes since I honestly hate his sight so I don't want to talk about him too much in my story. Also, since I wrote this story to get rid of my writers' block, I didn't want to think about unpleasant things and just wanted to write random things :D

You have no idea how far Khushi will go from Arnav's life :D

Once again, thanks for leaving a long, thoughtful comment. If you are writing something and would like me to read it, please share the links!

7: Like ASR…

"Khushi didi!" Jivvy went into ASR's open room, searching for Khushi.

"Wait! I'm almost ready!!!" Khushi screamed from the bathroom. A second later, Arnav arrived from the poolside, after finishing his gardening.

Looking at Jivvy, he nodded and said, "Good morning Jivvy. Give me five minutes, and we can discuss about the contract then." He liked her, he thought again, for she was serious and dedicated to this project as much as he was.

"What? I'm not doing any work today! It's a Saturday! Do I look crazy to you?" Her reply shook him.

"Then why are you here?"

"To call Khushi didi of course!"

He was confused, and was about to ask more questions, when Khushi came out, dressed in a pink dress with netted sleeves. "Okay! I'm ready. Let's go!" she declared, without giving her husband a glance. Before his usually busy brain could process all this, Jivvy had pulled his Khushi away and both were racing through the doors. Like a curious husband, he followed them downstairs, only to find Nani waving bye bye to the duo.

"Nani?"

"Yes Chote?"

"Where did Khushi and Jivvy go?"

Nani's eyebrows rose, mimicking the curve of her lips, as she answered. "To watch a movie. Somehow Azmih bitya managed to get the tickets, and it was a Salman Khan movie, so how could Khushi bitya not go?" Ignoring Arnav's confused expression, she continued. "By the way Chote, unlike your other business partners, I like Azmih bitya. She's been brought up in a foreign country, but she still knows her culture, and is still proud to be an Indian. She watches Hindi movies, sings Hindi songs, likes Punjabi food, and even speaks acceptable Hindi. So unlike you! And yet, like you, she is very good in her business, right?"

"Yes Dadi, that is true, she is similar to bhai at times," Akash added as he approached the two.

"What the! You are comparing me to a child! Are you mental? She's like Khushi, not like me." Arnav spoke bitterly, as he recalled the incident in his room, where Jivvy decided to ignore Arnav and go ahead with Khushi, who also ignored him.

"We are not wrong bhai," spoke up Akash, teasingly. "She doesn't like an Indian breakfast. She actually brought her cereals from U.S.! She doesn't believe in God, and thinks that it's all about hard work and ability, and she has also proved herself by running her own company." After a little pause, when he saw his older brother glare at him, he continued. "And she also scares people."

"What?" Nani asked, flabbergasted.

"Yes Dadi! Hari Prakash is scared to come in front of bhai, but this morning, he was actually hiding every time he saw Jivvy." Akash chucked, recalling the amusing sight where Azmih searched for HP while he hid in weird places like the storeroom and even in the cabinet under the sink.

"What does HP have to do with this?" Arnav asked, thoroughly confused.

"Don't you remember yesterday bhai? Jivvy had taken him out to play tennis, but when he came back, it seemed as if Jivvy had punished him. The poor guy couldn't even walk the entire day due to soreness. Oh, and by the way bhai, like you, she also likes her morning exercises."

Clenching his teeth, Arnav replied, "I don't waste time by watching useless movies!" And he marched up the stairs, into his room, and slammed the door shut.

A few minutes later, he opened the door again and yelled, "Nani! Did Khushi or Jivvy take their phones with them?"

"No Chote, why what happened?"

He showed the old lady two tickets and said, "This. They went to watch the movies, but forgot the tickets here."

"Hey bhagwan!" Anjali gasped as she heard him. "What will happen now?"

"I wonder if she is the actual Ms. Jivvy that completed so many different projects and actually created a company." Arnav muttered. Angrily, he declared, "Let it be. They won't be able to go the theaters then. It will teach them how to be responsible the next time." Nani and Anjali gave each other a smile, before nodding and agreeing with their Chote, and going back downstairs.
