Dont glare at me that way! :p I told you we'll meet after February and here I am :p Hoping to be regular now, but you never know my laziness :p Well i was really blank all these months. I didnt know what to write and how should i go about it.. So there is a little change in the story (just the precap portion.. Rest is the same as i had envisioned).. Read and let me know what you think of it.

"Mom, I am going to the office, might get late so please don't panic and call me. I would be busy to attend calls." saying this, Maanvi rushed to her office.

Sitting in the car, Maanvi swam back into her ocean of thoughts,"I think, he is not at all bad. He is humble, understanding and knows how to give space to other people. I don't think any one else could have understood the amount of love i have for my family after Dad's death. But how would i know if he thinks the same for me? Is he ready to marry me? What is his decision? I guess i should talk to him!"

Maanvi takes out her phone and is shocked to see his name flashing on her screen. She feels her heart skip a beat, hands shiver and her mind racing fast. She is confused, happy and in a dilemma. She answers the call and Viraat in a single breath says, "Maanvi, I am sorry, i disturbed you but it is really urgent. Meet me in Hotel Rosewood at 5 30 Pm sharp today. I'd be waiting for you." and without listening her answer he ends the call. She is shocked at his call but excited to be able to spend time and confess whatever each other's feelings are.

Maanvi quickly finished her office work and cancelled all the evening meetings to be with Viraat, to know his feelings about her, to tell him what she felt! She cursed the clock for moving at a snail's speed. At 5, she picked up her bag and drove her way to Hotel Rosewood. Upon reaching, Maanvi was surprised with the decoration- all of her liking, subtle, serene and slow music. It touched her heart, She controlled her feelings of running and hugging her man.

She entered the hall and Viraat presented her a bouquet of white roses with a note. Maanvi couldn't have been more happy, everything was perfect, everything was just the way she liked! She held Viraat's hand and followed him towards a table, once again decorated with roses, delicious food and a big red packet.

Viraat pulled a chair and made way for Maanvi to sit. He passed on the menu card to Maanvi and started the conversation, "Maanvi, I am not a man who knows how to twist words, so i'll come straight to the point. What have you thought about my proposal, because seriously lets not waste time any more and tell our parents whatever our feelings our. You had asked for a day to think, and you have got more than that.." He knelt on his knees and said,"Maanvi, marry me, please? I think you are the most precious girl God could ever send for me!" Maanvi couldn't just believe her ears. The time stood still. She was not in this world. The moment had just happened and she was living it. She slowly passed her hand into his and gave a nod. while lost in the beautiful eyes of Maanvi! She could feel the intense gaze and was enjoying the love, the care he had in them.She felt proud of her decision. She was happy to have accepted Viraat as her soul mate and lost in his song that she didn't realize it was getting late for her.Their happy moment was disturbed when Jia called Maanvi, "Di, where are you?Mom is worrying about you. Its half past seven and you are still not at home". Maanvi shockingly glanced at her watch and Viraat who wanted her to put the phone back and talk to him. She picked up all her belongings, waved back at Viraat and asked him to wait for her call at night. Visibly upset, Viraat ran behind her till she disappeared in the thin air and only left back her words to give him company..

"I knew i will never make a wrong decision, Viraat is the perfect choice for me! Mom, he called me to meet at hotel Rosewood, and i cant tell you how beautifully he had decorated it with everything of my liking.. White roses, perfect food, silent music, and we both.. all alone." she swirled around her mother and said, "Ma, I am ready, please take your talks on the next level!" Sunaina couldnt resist her happiness and hugged her."Maanvi, thank you for showing me this beautiful day. I would be forever indebted to you, I love you my princess!" Coming out of the embrace, Maanvi pinched Sunaina and said, "Ma, you know what i hate the most about you? You make all the happy moments sad by crying and going back to your past. Why can't you live the present moment and be happy with what today has for you? I love you too!"

Viraat entered his room only to find his mother worrying about his whereabouts.He silently went close to her and hugged her from the back,"Mom, I love you, and today i want to share one of the biggest decision of my life with you." Nisha exclaimed with joy and asked him if Maanvi accepted his proposal.Confused at her reply he asked,"Mom, how do you know i went to meet her? I made all the plans without letting you know anything and still you read my mind!" Nisha ruffled his hair and said,"Viraat, I am your mother. I can read your face. your reactions. The way you are happy, the way you are singing, I can understand every little thing of yours. And, i am very happy of your choice. Maanvi is a very nice, caring girl- You both make a very nice pair." Viraat hugged his Mom and said," Mom, you are genius! " "And you are my rock star," said Nisha embracing him in a tight hug.

Jia and Ankur were genuinely happy for Maanvi. They went up to her and hugged her. Reality struck Maanvi. She was once again caught in her dilemma. How would she live without them after Maanvi. How will they cope up? Jia brought her back to reality,"Di, i want to tell you something." Maanvi adjusted Jia on her lap and said,"Yes my little princess, what do you want to tell me?" Jia took a deep breath, clutched her her hands and spoke, "Di, Jeeju had asked me you number and also your favorite cuisine and colour. I knew you didn't want to share your number with him but i couldn't resist as he promised of giving me chocolates the next time he comes to meet us." Jia knew Maanvi would get angry but what she did next was totally unexpected and left every one shocked.

"Jia, you needed chocolates, right! When have i ever said no to anything you asked me to do for you? That person whom you don't even know properly, asks you something, gives you the greed of chocolates and you agree to whatever he asks you to do? This is what i have been teaching you since so long? This is your love towards me? You make me ashamed of calling you my sister.Get away from my sight right now!"

Sunaina asked Jia to go in her room, and gave Ankur Maanvi's phone to play games. She locked the room and made Maanvi sit on the couch.

"Maanvi, why are you getting angry at Jia? Look, it is because of her that you experienced the best day of your life. It is because of her you got to know what Viraat feels for you. It is because of her that you have agreed to marry Viraat. And inspite of thanking her, you go on slapping her?Where is the caring Maanvi i knew? Where is the Maanvi who loves Jia, Ankur more any one else in this world? Maanvi, while you are moving ahead, making new relations, don't spoil your old relations. Your behaviour towards Jia might make her hate you both. It might have a bad effect n her. Go, and apologize to her "

"Ma, I am sorry, I know i overreacted but it was needed. Thank God that it was just Viraat, but if i wouldn't have stopped her, she wouldn't have learnt a lesson and would have continued speaking lies and sharing my number with any one who asks for it. I know she is hurt, but i assure you, i will bring back my chirpy princess back very soon."
