soon madhu found that rk was not a good booy. practically. he along with his nasty girlfriend and others always made fun of the students who were poor and ugly.
next weekend it was going to be fresher's night where everyone has to arrive with a date. since neither madhu was interested nor she was having a date so she decided against going and agreed to be the volunteer there. trishna was going out with a boy - Abhi. and as far as ever was concerned, nobody even budge to ask her.
next day madhu noticed a large crowd at notice board. she too asked out of curiosity and got stumped with the answer. madhu rushed to her classroom which was rather empty except for ever who was sitting alone at last bench.
madhu: why are you doing this??
ever: what??
madhu: do you think you will be elected as president of student's welfare committee??
ever: nope.
madhu: then why did you gave your name?? you know that boy - RK has been winning since last 2 years and he will even this time too.
ever: you sound like his girlfriend.
madhu: maybe but i think i sound like your well wisher. they are not the right one to fight with. you know they have both money and power to exploit and besides they are not even of our label.
EXACTLY.
madhu turned around and saw rk leaning against the classroom door.
rk: well said miss...
madhu: (sternly) miss madhubala shamsher malik .
for a second rk thought that the name sounded familiar but he ignored it.
rk: (to ever) you see your friend is quiet intelligent.
ever: she is afraid.
madhu: no i am not !!
rk: oh!! anger miss malik.
madhu: shut up!!!
just then peon comes and calls madhu to staff room.
madhu: (to ever) bye. take care.
rk : bye miss malik.
madhu glares at rk and then storms out.
rk: (smirks) interesting. (then turns to ever) well leave her, i want to talk to you.
ever: speak.
rk: will you be my date for fresher's night??
ever: think twice. i have already said - stay clear of the witch.
rk: you think of yourself to be a witch??
ever: i am one.
rk: well you even look like one. so what's your answer??
ever: yes.
at weekend:
it was fresher's night and rk was already inside with his date - dipali. did you said ever?? well she was just a part of plan.
dipali was busy having plastic talks with her friends whom she had not seen since this morning. they were discussing about their dresses, shoes, accessories and boyfriends.
rk excused himself and came outside towards the entrance.it was already late and no one was outside. where was ever?? did anyone told her that he had already arrived with his girlfriend?? no.that's not possible. just then he turned around and bumped into someone.
ouch !!
just when she was about to fall, he caught her by waist. the girl slowly opened her eyes. though not very beautiful, but she looked elegant. she had freckles but her long black hairs were flowing freely. though he hated Indian wear but it suited her perfectly.
madhu was first to break eyelock.
rk : sorry.
madhu: it's okay.
she bent down to pick her books that fell. then she saw a white rose lying on the ground.
madhu: beautiful flower!!
rk: (amused) you like it?? then you can keep it.
madhu: that's so rude!! it's meant for your big headed girlfriend.
rk: she doesn't likes it.
madhu: what else can be expected from a girl like her?? it's such a cute little flower. pure and innocent.
rk was gazing at her. she was different .
rk: that's because it doesn't matches her dress's color and it's quiet cheap.
madhu: but it's prettier than costly orchids and others.
rk: that's why you can keep it.
madhu: (amiles) thank you.
she picks the flower and goes away.
minutes later the person finally arrived. Ever was wearing a weird black cloak like gown and she looked like a big fan of harry potter.
but she was stopped on entrance by the students who were checking passes.
ever: my pass is with him.(pointing towards rk) i'm with him.
the students ask rk for pass.
rk: (pretends) what?? why on the earth i would come to the party with a girl like you. correction. witch like you?? (smirks).
ever: you said i was your date.
rk: and you believed so easily??
ever: i knew you would surely do something like this.
rk: and that's why you're still here??
ever: you're gonna pay for this.
rk winks at her and goes inside. but one last time he turns around to see her pathetic face but ever was nowhere to be seen. how could someone disappear so early??
and then the party went as usual except for one thing. rk felt a strange feeling.
just then a girl came towards him. she had a hot body and was wearing an amazing gown . he hairs were tied into a bun and all the boys were drooling over her.
she came towards rk , grabbed his hand and went on the dance floor. dipali tried to stop her but couldn't.
she wrapped her arms around his neck and danced passionately. she brought her lips near his ears and whispered : come with me.
and then she took him to terrace with her.
she went to the side and stood their with her back facing him.
rk: wow!! you're hot!! what's your name.
girl: you already know.
the voice sounded familiar. rk walked towards her and turned her around. and then he got the biggest shock of his like.
rk: ever ??
ever: glad that you still remember my name .
rk was feeling little afraid. because this girl was weird and could do anything.
rk: i'm sorry , it was just a little prank.
ever: you should be and you will be. now this is also going to be just a lil prank.
was she hiding a knife or worse, a gun ??
rk: look it's...
ever : it's not the first time. class 2 you told your classmate shivani that she was buck teethed and the little girl cried whole recess.
rk: i was a child then.
ever: class 7. you refused to sit with a boy because he had his face half burnt.
rk: i was stressed. dad was getting transferred to another city.
ever: maybe. but last year a girl named vidya came to you and asked for you phone number as she was your physics project partner. but after project submission you gave her number to all other boys. her parents finally got her number change and...
rk: she left school two months after that. but i am really were sorry.
ever: as i said. you will be.
then she started to move towards him.
rk could feel sweat on his forehead. what the hell she was upto??
then she slowly turned him around to face the glass in window on the terrace . in front of him stood an ugly monster.
his body was covered with hairs, cuts, burn marks and tattoos.
rk:(roars) what have you made me??
just then he realized that his voice has also changed.
ever: YOU'RE A BEAST !!
rk: you can't do this!!
and then he unknowingly pounced on her and dug his claws inher. he could feel her flesh ripping apart and blood dripping out.
suddenly his human instincts took over and he realized what he had done.
rk: NO!! sorry!!
just then a miracle happened. ever started to heal all herself. and a few seconds later she was all too well as if nothing had happened.
ever: you can kill otherworldly people. i told you i am a witch.
rk: please!! please don't do this.
ever: i can't reverse my curse. but since you helped that girl...
rk: who? madhubala??
a rose?? he didn't knew that a rose could do so much.
ever: i give you six months to find someone who can love you for what you are. if that true love kisses you, your curse will be lifted otherwise you will be a beast forever.
