Boy!!! today was the pingpong of emotions running throughout...and what spot on quick reflections on their faces...I just absolutely love Saras and his 'eye Rolling'🤓 with Kumud's face hiding tactics..and he is actually teasing her...😆
He has now realized that Kumud is now on a childish stubborn ride and so to a large extent her words are not hurting him..he is enjoying this tug of wills...😳
The way he camly tells her that her Thank you is not from her heart.and so why he is obligated to accept it?? Thereby turning the tables on her...that she is not the only one who can judge and reject pretentiously !!! 😛
And the way he challenges her that he will read the Thank you in her eyes...and that too before the sunset on Uttarayan!! And that was a wonderful ..."Take that !!" moment. As he thursts the Maanjha back in her hands and walks away...did I imagine or did he swaggered a little bit😆
The morning next...I love how they show him giving the ode to the sun..and the posture was correct too..which is not the case in most soap operas...
And then the man realizes that he is indeed attracted to Kumud..so much that he forgets every fight as soon as he hears her voice..😳
Now this is where the super touch of the director comes..they show him loosen up...slowly away from the negative towards more positive and good...and as soon as he surrounded by the goodness..his heart becomes free of those prejudices which have stopped him from loving till now...he becomes the man who is actually hidden behind those walls that he has erected to protect himself from the family he is got in Dubai...
and it is that which makes him free...free to realize that he is feeling that attraction...that pull...and he does accept it...without any hesitation...
And after that we do find a new Saras...playing hide and seek with the girl he is falling for...unabashedly playing those 'peep in' games as he sees her...teasing her...not afraid of showing his curiousity...Though Icant blame Kumud for staring as Saras is totally concentrating in his prayers with his eyes closed...he looked..for the lack of better word... BEAUTIFUL!!!😳
Did I see Saras giving himself a mental kick, as soon as he opened his eyes and realized that he missed a clear view of Kumud's face by a fraction of time😆
The Uttarayan scene was also shot excellently...even the Dukhba and badima scene was short crisp and sharp as hell!!
I loved the dialogues today even from the side characters as Kumud's cousin drags Saras away from the puja asking him 'Why are you standing like a Soap opera hero?"🤣
Kumud taking the flight and shoving the manjha in his hands...it is actually brilliant the way they showed Saras holding the thread the day before as if a novice and Kumud totally at ease ...the way she holds it as a seasone battler...and continues her taunts...😃
Saras slices back as he asks her "Is it me or you dont trust people on principle?' Kumud was speechless!! I like how Saras is looking her from left and right...trying to catch her into conversation and trying to see her face..he is now totally not making any pretense..he is out to see her and he will!!!
Did somebody notice his smug expressions when Kumari gives Kumud a thumbs up showing them as a jodi?? He so knows that everybody loves him and Kumud is boiling with rage at that!!😆
Kumud wins the kite cutting and everybody praises Saras...HAHA that one was really maddenning for Saras and Saras doesnot deny it!! He is getting into the game and he does give it as he gets!! Wonderful wonderful developement of expressions by Gautam!!!
Did I just see Saras doing a back handed tactic as he accepts all the admirations without any resistance!! 😉 and asks 'Aur kaunsiwali chahiye ? Mein abhi kaat deta hoon!!!' 😲😆 and did I see Saras actually FLIRTING with his Saalis!!😲 He does have a sense of humour na??? the way he tells them all the while looking at Kumud (Side face of Kumud Ofcourse) Ho jayega!!! 😆
