Wonderful episode, never knew kite flying was so romantic 😳

I am in a big confusion over Kumud's behaviour after seeing two scenes :
"Kusum sach hi kah rahi thi, meine jitna socha usse se bhi zyada samachdar nikla...mein bhi dekh thi hu ye mera chehra kaise dekhega"

"Tho ye hai aap ki chaal Mr.Saraswathichandra"

Theses two scenes have made me really confused who is the real Kumud. Hearing her say that he is cleverer than she thought made me think is she arrogant of her knowledge, arrogant of the fact that she is the only one who has studied here ? Or is she a childish pampered girl, who has got everything she wants from her dad, every freedom to do whatever she wants ? She seems to be matured in other things but seems to be stubborn only about Saras, to the extent that she is not able to thank him for saving her father. I am feeling like there is no border on Kumud's characterisation, it seems to waver throughout. If anyone can throw some light on this I would be interested.

The confusion is with kumuds feelings. She has a big ego which is why she still can't get over the fact that saras rejected her, even when he has done so any good things her ego is stopping her from saying thank you. Because every time she wants to be nice to him she remembers the rejection and so pulls back.

Thx but why think that he is cleverer than she thought, she doesn't know him to base an opinion like this. I know she thinks him a coward and arrogant but this somehow felt for me like she thought she was clever than him. Yeah she is a very egoistic person.

Being educated and being clever are two different things. She wasnt talking about education based knowledge here but at all the clever plans he comes up with to see her face..She is miffed by the fact that Saras is not giving up despite of all her efforts to hide her face from him..He always has a plan up his sleeve to ''defeat'' her in this so called challenge..They are playing games with each other now..If she makes a move ( ''chaal''), he makes a smart counter move..thats why she said ''ye apki chaal hai'' ( to see my face). Hope I made sense! :)

Thx Vaishali, that made sense. I got it now, got a bit confused with those dialogues. I think her high handed behaviour made me think about knowledge. I will see the episode again, just need another excuse to watch it 😉
