I believe very few music oriented movies will stand the test of time as a movie...not just the songs...I am not talking about the movie in General.
Like I believe Kuch Kuch hota hai the movie will not stand the test of time...but Hum aapke Hain kaun will...
however I think Rangeela will be a cult forever...It signifies the origin of genius called Rahman...Bollywood opening to sexuality...Urmila oozing sexuality with class and confidence...RGV the maverick saying Hai to bollywood...Even the way songs are picturized...
Aamir Khan the star almost playing second fiddle to Urmila...where mainstream stars slowly opened up to playing characters as important as others in the movie...
I remember Urmila was literally a walking Wet dream in those days...I think no one have taken a nation by shock and storm like she did for a couple of yrs with Rangeela as she did...
Realistic Dialogues also add to the movie staying relevent for ages to come...
