PART 70

Nothing much changed that night when he kissed her seemed to have never existed. After her 21^st birthday the things became a little complicated, DM quietly observed the way he behaved with her so called legal wife, but she did not say anything, she knew that he needed time. At the same time she observed her also, the younger woman tried to find out what was wrong with his man, yes he was his man, and she talked to him even when he pretended to be busy with something or other.

Angel has turned 3 and was ready for admission in nursery. They opted for one of the best schools, {let us say Shri Ram Centennial Group of schools} as it was her birth certificate said that they were her parents, so they were.

The interview was good, and she got admission it the school. Geet was very happy and she made a black forest cake to celebrate the occasion.

G: Nakul go call DM and Maan and also ask Lata to bring Angle

N: for the cake cutting

G: yes

She placed the cake on the coffee table; it was time for high tea and as always Maan was home

Soon DM, Maan and Angle came, Lata and Nakul were asked to join, Geet handed a knife in Maan's hand, and he looked at her in surprise

G: you help Angle cut the cake

M: CAKE??

G: yes, to celebrate her first step to education

M: it is not a big deal

G: it is for me

DM: (sensed that Maan will not understand so she interrupted their conversation) Yes, Maan, this is indeed a thing to celebrate, in our days also we use to celebrate, on Basant Panchami the kids of suitable age were given their first slate and chalk after Saraswati poojan. Education is indeed a celebration.

Maan nodded and held Angle in his arms and helped her cut the cake.

Soon her school started, as Geet too had to leave for college on same time, it was Maan who dropped Angle to her school, after few days on Geet's continuous insistence his darling daughter was send by school bus.

Initially Maan was very reluctant but soon he realized that Geet was correct, Angle enjoyed the trip to school by bus.

Here Geet's 3 years of education was over and the 4^th year was training. This year they have introduced a rule that the students cannot do the training in the same city so she has to go to some other city for her 1 year training.

Maan did not like the idea but remained quiet; he never interfered in her life. It was decided by DM that she will go to Jaipur for training; there she will stay at Arjun's place. Arjun was overwhelmed by the news and Anwesha welcomed her with open arms.

Geet did not like the idea of leaving behind Angle as well as Maan.

G: DM I will not go anywhere

DM: Beta you have to for your degree

G: I don't want such degree which separates me from my family (looked at Maan, who was pretending to be busy in a file)

DM: you have worked so hard for this and now when you are almost there you will leave it.

G: but

DM: don't worry about Angle, we all here for her

G: DM

And she left for her room with tears in her eyes, she so much wanted Maan to say something; but that stubborn man will never change.

looking at the back she has come from, it was not a everyday thing for a girl child to be educated. for Geet it was a very big thing that her daughter was going to be educated. she wanted to celebrate the occasion.
For Maan it sounded stupid, for him every child gets to go to school, so what was the fuss about.
DM sensed this and what she said was to ease out the way for Maan and to make him understand what Geet wanted to do, though she followed the old method of relating the thing with soemthing in past.
Maan did not understand what Geet was up to but thought that may be such things are being done at her place so just co-operated with her.
