Thankyou to all those who appreciated the last part, I really loved your comments dearies. And especially to those who gave a thought on the note.
And those who said, that maan should have thought from geet's point of view too, well doesn't he need enough time to calm himself and then analyze the issue completely. You can't expect any sober person to be so fast with his emotions. He is badly hurt and need atleast some time to rethink about all that, which is surely not possible in the matter of few hours.
Secondly, if you say ki he had planned so much in those few hours, then he could think about her too, then I will like to clear it, he didn't planned anything. He just decided he will take her with him, as he really can't tell his mother all that at least not for now, when she is so much attached to her.
And In that decision to he had his own self motive, he wanted the relation between the women to weaken that's why he took her with him. Yeah he said he will get her educated, but with the reason that he will free himself from her responsibility. His upbringing won't allow him to leave her all alone, so that's the best step he could take.
AND I REALLY FELT HURT WITH THE DECREASED COMMENTS.
PART 16
After two days, they reached the fastest town of India, Mumbai. As it is said, every day around thousands of people comes to Mumbai, the city of fortune to start their new life and so were they. They two had came here to start their life together yet individually with a new goal, for him, it was to excel in his career, complete this training along with his work with full dedication so that one day, he could buy a house for his family, which now includes his family only, and yeah to give her an individuality too, while she came here with the motive that she will give her life an another chance, forgetting entire last month, and prove she isn't that week as everyone understands her, she will make her name in this world. But was it that easy to forget everything, in a blink of eye???
He checked in a local hotel, as his company would provide him accommodation after a week. During the whole journey, geet tried to talk with him, atleast to start afresh with him. But he was in no mood to do that. He would just ask her, is she hungry, do you want anything, and that's it. If she will even try, he will either just go away to stand near the door, or would just sit on his place looking outside. If the two days of silence could be so torturous, how will the following days will be she wondered.
As they entered their room, the first thing he did was to check the bed, and was thankful that it was as per his specifications. He had especially asked to give him a room with two single beds in it. Taking two rooms, were surely not in budget in a city like Mumbai and he was not ready to leave her alone in a room too at night, as he didn't trusted the surroundings much.
Geet too looked at the arrangement, and was flying high in air. Sharing a bed with him was really the most uncomfortable thing in the entire marriage; she would feel so stiff while she tried to sleep, but now atleast her own bed would be there.
Maan saw her gaze on the bed, and to be honest, he just hated the happiness that floated in her eyes. It was not he didn't want her to be happy, but knowing that the reason of the happiness of his wife is their separation, he just hated the thought. It wasn't he wanted to share the bed with her, he just couldn't after knowing everything, but it isn't easy to deny the fact that she is his ritually wedded wife. But he knew he will get a control on himself, but it would take some time and he knew what to do.
They freshened up and had lunch in silence. The silence between them was turning thick, and was unbearable to both, especially for maan, knowing how much he loves to share everything with her. The days when he used to call her, he was the one who used to do most of the talking's, he would tell her how tiring his day was, how much work his boss gave which he couldn't do on time due to her as she would keep his mind busy. He just loved to say those yash raj banner lines to her, and she used to just ignore them.
And now his heart doesn't want o share with her anything, not his hurt, neither his pain, nor his anger. It was all just for him only, and he isn't ready to share it with her now. Geet had never talked much to him except the cute wars they used to have, but it wasn't wrong to say she got used to of hearing him let out his frustration to her. Either it be on his boss or her, but he never kept anything in, he was an open book to her, and now he is a closed jar, with a lid so tight, her whole force will turn out null in front of him.
That day, they just roamed in the nearby streets, seeing what Mumbai offers to them, well their delhi wasn't less either too. maan saw the way teenage girls were roaming mostly in caprees and jeans or skirts' suits, were something you went get to see easily if you go through the major part of the town.
Then he looked at geet, and the long anarkali she wore, reaching below her knees and that long dubatta taken in a way to cover her entire front. She looked older than the girls of her age in that attire and no doubt he couldn't guess her age.
It was night when they reached their hotel and had their dinner. Both settled on their respective backs, geet laid closing her eyes, as cherished the feel of whole bed' the best feeling in the world that you own the entire space to sleep, no restriction on turning and moving.
Maan took his laptop and searched the net. After an hour of searching, he collected the data and transferred in a different folder. When he closed his lappy, feeling tired, his eyes invariably glanced at his roommate, and he just couldn't help to let that small smile linger on his lips as he saw the condition of bed.
Geet laid on the bed on her stomach, with her one arm dangling down while her pillow instead of being under her head, was above her head, her duvet was like always on the floor as she kicked it away trying to have full space for herself.
He was used to that kicking of hers in her sleep in the last week; he used to sometimes move on the far corner just t save himself, the best advantage of having a separate bed he thought.
The smile immediately wiped, as he realized the reason of separate bed, as he turned his back to her. His hurt pained as the memory he hated the most again flashed in front of his eyes. Her betrayal, whenever he see her happy, the betrayal resurfaces, he knew he was proving himself selfish but aren't humans who are selfish, even gods are selfish when it came for their benefit then how can he be wrong if he thinks about himself.
Chod to Krishna ne bhi diya tha radha ko rukmani ke liye,
To mera uske khushi me jalna galat kyu.
Par shayad wo ye bhul gya tha, ki aj bhi duniya Krishna aur radha ko hi pujti hai,
Chahe unki prem kahani safal hui ho ya na ho'
Kuch log ishq ko hasil kar fanaa ho jate hai,
aur kuch radha ki tarah aas me baithe baithe khuda ban jate hai.
It was next day, when maan finally spoke to her. Geet, he said as he saw her coming out of washroom dressed in a pink chudidaar. Geet actually felt her ears were buzzing as she heard his voice. Matlab comeon, he is on his maun vrat, itni asani se thodi tutega.
Geet, he again called and she looked at him, that's when she realized it wasn't a dream. He signaled her to sit in front. She thought, did he forgave me, but his eyes they were still not looking at me like the way they used too, to what does he want..
Well it was better he shout rather than turning a dumb person. She sat down in front of him, while he forwarded his laptop to her. I had got details of few nice schools through net, even this one, ST.FRANCIS, in this my friend's sister studies, so that's nice too. you see them and tell me where you want to apply for admission, it won't be much difficult seeing your marks.
Geet looked at him shocked, as she saw around 10 top notch schools details, she had heard of them in schools, as few used to praise about them. She knew they were quite expensive and she know they requires donations to get admission in them. Maan saw the surprise in her eyes and said, you have 2 days to decide before admission procedure starts, if you have any difficulty in deciding, tell me, I will help you, he said as he moved to take his shower.
Geet read all the details, she knew it would be a dream come true, and after studying from them, she would get easy admissions in college too, but they were just way too expensive. She knew she is just a burden on him, when he doesn't consider her a friend, then how can she ask him to spend so much on her.
No way she just couldn't, she took out her FD papers which her parents had taken on her name and placed it with chichi who gave them to her at the time of marriage. It was around 4 lakhs FD, and she knew it would be her two years fees if she studied in any one of them.
But then what about her future, her higher studies, they would be more expensive than school fees too. she surfed through them for some decent school but there were none in the ones he filtered.
She placed the papers back in her bag, and thought of searching herself for some more schools. Maan came after the shower and saw her searching on net for some more schools. He felt hurt seeing her not even giving a chance to his selections. Did she not even trust him this much, he thought as he moved out of the room leaving her busy in her searching.
Precap: maan knowing geet's hesitance
