Yes, the title song is amazing. Yes, the two characters are very well-etched. Yes, the casting is as good as it can get. Yes, the characters are heartwarming. But more than anything, what really drew me towards Saras-Kumud in today's episode is the curiosity they arise in each other. Love or no love, their connection is undeniable.
Kumud feels drawn into his eyes. Those eyes which according to her hold immense honesty, simplicity and with that, an unfathomable pain. She is rightly upset at him and even breaks down in front of her mother as she realises that Saras is probably not the person her family remembers him to be. But when he enters her house, her curiosity comes back as she tries to catch a glimpse of him beyond those familiar eyes.
Saras, of course, has been restless ever since he has sent that letter of rejection to Kumud. He seems to be having a hard time living with himself and I think he is only to happy to go to Ratnagiri and sort everything out with her face-to-face, if he is lucky enough to see her face that is. But what amuses me is how he was acting like such a curious cat just to see what she looked like specially since she refused the same on the video chat. He even went to the extent of stalking her FB account. Now that's desperation!
I am waiting to see these two in the same frame. Sparks will surely fly and along with the chemistry of the actors, it'll also be because of the clash of two strong, level-headed and grounded characters.
P.S. I need to mention this dialogue when Saras tells his father that his face is not devoid of emotions. He just can't be bothered to read them.
