Vidya Balan is all set to serve as the Brand Ambassador of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne for the second time in a row.
Owing to her great popularity and charisma the 35-year-old actress was re-elected for the post at an official function in the entertainment capital Mumbai.
Speaking on the occasion, Balan said that she would love to sign a life time deal with Melbourne as it's like a second home for her now.
"It gives me great pleasure to be the Brand Ambassador for second term in a row for the Melbourne film Festival, there is a sense of ownership now, not just to do with the festival but I think Melbourne, where any one mentions Melbourne, I feel like they are mentioning home," she said.
"I would like to say this to the honorable minister that I hope you sign like a life time Brand Ambassador Deal with me making sure that I can keep coming back to Melbourne every year," she added.
The ' Kahaani ' star also said that she will like to shoot a film there as she is overwhelmed by its people.
"I would love to shoot for a film there. Its one of the warmest places away from home, warmest in the sense the people, the way they receive Indian films. There openness in terms of Indian culture and every thing Indian. So I am extremely overwhelmed," Balan said.
The festival which will be held from 3-15 May 2013 will celebrate 100 years of Indian Cinema and will showcase some of the most celebrated films of the last century including the very first Indian film 'Raja Harishchandra'.
