Yeah I think so too, and I also loved that video call. I loved both the characters very much, but Saras' character thoda sa zyaada.😃 But Kumud's character was like what an independent girl of today's generation should be like so that was amazing and made me fall in love with her character.
But yesterday, they stretched her stubborn nature. Not showing Saras your face is understandable. It is justified bcoz what he did has hurt you. But by saving your father's life, he also did a HUGE favour to you. So if you can punish a person for hurting your self-esteem, you should also have the courage to thank the same person if he has helped you.
I wouldn't have minded the stubborn nature of Kumud if it was some other time, but I feel like she was putting herself at a place where she could only see that Saras did her wrong, which he kind of did but she never really gave him a chance to say his pov and I don't think he really wanted to either, but when she didn't say sorry it was like he had committed a crime that was unpardonable. The way Kumud and Dukhba were acting with Saras was rude, I think. I mean you can't judge a book by its cover, and you can't judge them based on their first impression.
When for the first time, Kumud walked upto Saras, but could not manage to say thanks - I was a bit disappointed. Later even she admitted ki sirf thanks ho toh bolna tha.
Bu then she met him on the temple, and was outright rude to him😲 Many of you can disagree, but I felt Kumud was rude towards him. Aapki chitthi padne ke baad, umeed nahi hai ki aap kisi ka dard samjhenge. Like, what the hell was that???? The dude just saved your father's life last night TWICE!!! I am really annoyed at her right now. Hope that her mom drills some sense into her brain😉
I think that Kumud's behavior compared to SC's is very jungli indecent types, I get it that she is frank but Saras is too, but still he maintains that decency of when talking to a stranger and doesn't cross that boundary. But from what we have seen so far, I think that this issue is cropping up because they aren't communicating. They haven't talked about what their feelings were and why they took whatever decision they did. Saras, I don't think at this point, realizes how much this rishta had meant to Kumud and dheere dheere he is figuring that out. I just loved when he asked her if he really had hurt her that much. And on Kumud's part she doesn't know why Saras rejected her, so she is just assuming that he is a snobbish NRI that doesn't want to marry someone from a village, something along those lines. They both have this connection with each other, it is not love at this point but it is a connection, something that binds them.
And can I tell you how much I loved the precap!!! And the title song, wow, Shreya Ghoshal is the best, I love her voice.
Other points of this week :
1. SO finally Saras was Kumud's face😃 Liked the whole setting of electrcity gone and Kumud pankha-oing him. Then she sleeps and our hero stares at the sleeping beauty😳 Jen is looking one of her best in this show. It was cute how Saras complained as to why Kumud stopped the pankha😆 Loll Gautam was cute there.
That was the cutest scene ever, It was a very different way for him to see her face without her showing any tantrums. And then he tried to change the topic by saying he woke up because she stopped fanning him. 😆 Definitely going to be on my fave scenes list.
Loved to hear the full title song...Shreya has such a captivating voice.
The full song was just amazing, not just Shreya ( though she has the most serene voice) but the lyrics are so engulfing.
2. Next morning, Kumud thinks Saras has left and she runs all over her palace. Couldn't think of any other word to describe her home...IT IS HUUUGEEE. Undoubtedly, one of the best sets in Indian TV so far!!
I know right, exercise ke liye koi gym wagera ki toh zaroorat hi nahi, Saras aur Kumud toh apne apne gharon mein hi bhaag bhaag ke fit ho jaate honge 😆 And it is beautiful, I love the contrast between Saras' modern western type home and Kumud's raja maharaja type house. They both are amazing in their own way.
3. Dukhba - Gumaan hate equation. I am really intrigued to know what happened in the past. Dukhba cannot stand Saras bcoz she thinks he is Gumaan's son. But then again, it seems like she had a soft corner for Saraswati. What must have happened???😲
I hate Guman so I won't talk about her and Dukhba has been annoying me because she continually taunts Saras when he is such a sweet guy.
4. Lastly, I have started liking Gautam. His character is slowly building up and more layers are being added to his personality. Gautam is doing really well 😃
I love SARAS!!!!! I mean I didn't ever see Gautam in a show before this, I think, but he impressed me in the promos themself but I wasn't sure if I should raise my expectations but I was luckily not disappointed. Iss hafte ka mera fave epi hoga jab Saras bharos paani from the well or the pankha epi or the IDK everything is good. The show is amazing😆
