Doc 1(taking deep breath): abhi hum kuch nahin keh sakte.. next 48 hours are very critical for her. Even if she survive this period its great miracle…

Arjun's rage shot up to a new level. He ignored his pain in ribs and lunged towards the doctor and held his collar tight and spoke through gritted teeth

Arjun: agar mere kookie ko kuch bhi hua then I will not spare you…..

Sameer, shree and chotu struggled hard to separate them.

Anvi was shocked to see this face of her brother. she had never seen him in this level of anger before.

Sameer: doc… go and save her. We want her alive.. we cannot afford lose her.. please doc I beg you…

Shree: doc, aap please meri didi ko bacha lijiye…

dada, I want her back, caressing my hair as she always does…… to love me like a younger bro… please doc…

Docs nodded and said they would do their best and left.

Arjun slumped back unable to bear the pain….both physical and the pain that was gnawing his heart. He immediately reached out for shree signaling him to wheel him towards ICU where Krishna was just shifted. Instead shree took him to his ward and made him lie not even giving him a chance to question o argue.

Shree was indeed reeling in shock…..

It was his family suffering…..

It was receiving blows one after the other and no one could help them.

First he himself was injured….

Then entry of sikander in the frame…

He after his best friend Riya….

Phir his Arjun sir was shot…

Attack on his bhabhi and nanhisi beti….

Above all……. It was his didi, who was lying on the bed in ICU, struggling between life and death………

he had read her letter...but, he did not have courage to tell anyone...

After he was assured that Arjun had slept, he went out of room, ran and hugged chotu tightly… chotu could not understand what was wrong with him… he turned around and saw sameer standing near ICU, gazing at his sister…

His bhabhi was on waiting chair with dia…. Riya and anvi silently shedding tears…

He slowly led shree to the waiting room, made him sit on sofa and passed him a glass with water.

Shree: kyun chotu???? Kyun ho raha hai ye hamare saath… sab……( a sob escaped from his throat) sab log dukhi and I cant do anything…. Infact none of us chotu….. why?? Why us chotu????"

Then he breaks down.

Chotu patted his back and let him cry. He knew shree needed to get those tears out of his system. He had not even shed a single tear from the time taayi was wheeled into hospital. He stood as a piller to entire family….

chotu, sameer and even Arjun had cried but not shree… he had reached his saturation level. He had to let that out…. Other wise it would eat him, make him empty gnawing him every minute…

after some time, sameer entered the room with dia in his arms…

"papa, wo aunty kaun thi? Unhone mujhe ye chain pehnaya and told me ki bua mujh se bohut pyaar karti hai… kaun hai wo papa? Aur pata hai unhe wahan bohut dard ho raha tha…. Phir bhi unhone mujhe uss gande uncle se bachaya…"

she said playing with the chain krishna made her wear.

it was a long gold chain, with oval pendent with a large diamond in the centre and small diamonds studded around it.

Sameer let out a sob, unable to hold it back anymore…

He had pushed her too far in past. When he got his sister back, destiny had other plans. His attention was grabbed by his daughter and he wiped his tears. He pecked her forehead and told her

"bacchi, wo aunty aap ke papa ki sister hai…. Tumhari kishu bua…"

"wo ab kahan hai papa? Aur ye chain nujhe kyun pehnaya? wo mujhse milne kyun nahin aayi?

"unki tabiyat theek nahin hai beta…… aur ye chain to unke papa mama ne unhe diya tha…. Unhone ye aap ko di hai as her blessings….""wo aayengi na...? papa, bua bohut acchi hai."

"haan beta, zaroor aayengi"

"papa, mujhe neend aa rahi hai…"

"so jao meri gudiya….. " he patted her and lulled her to sleep.

He then turned towards chotu and shree… shree was sleeping like a baby keeping his head on chotu's lap. He had tear traces on his face.

"chotu, ye shree…."

"haan bhaiyya…. Bohut roya hai…. Abhi thodi der pehle thak kar sogaya… why taayi bhaiyya???? Why Arjun sir again???why us?"

"chotu ye pareeksha ki ghadi hai…. Pata nahin bhagwan humse kya chahte hai…. We cant lose her…she is too precious… aur Arjun… Arjun to shayad…. I don't even want to think about that…."

"bhaiyya, hum Aisha ka kya Karen?"

"wo baad mein sochenge…. Raat bohut ho chuki hai… thak gaye hoge… get some sleep chotu….. he made dia sleep next to chotu and went out wiping his tears…

first a bada waala sorry for not updating earlier.
i had some trouble in my pc and lost latest updates of almost all stories i had in my pc.
i also lost track of the story line and could not continue immediately.
but sure ll update all my pending works...
i have changed the track a bit as i dont rem what i had written earlier...
so please bear me amigos...


here is part 37

Next morning….

Arjun was up and he all by himself wheeled towards ICU.

He saw her lying on hospital bed, pale and like a fragile doll... her body was isolated from the atmosphere... he saw bandages on her head and face... he could no longer see her like that. He turned around and saw his best friend and bhabhi sleeping on waiting chairs.

He slowly went towards waiting room and saw shree and dia sleeping with their heads on choyu's lap and his hand resting on them. Chotu was fast asleep. Arjun saw tear marks on both the faces.

He determiningly went out and woke sameer and pallavi.

"sameer, pallavi tum dono ghar jao aur aaraam karo. Main thodi der mein shree chotu ko bhej doonga. Riya aur anvi ko yahan bhej do."

"par Arjun..."

"sam...even you need rest. Go." He said in such an authoritative voice, that sameer had to compel to him.

Soon arjun even sent shree and chotu home.

He was waiting for anvi and riya to come back, his mind drifted to Aisha. Sameer had told him about her and her love for him.

"how can she???? Why did she love me??? What Ihave I done to make her love me???? Aur wo kookie ke saath aise kaise kar sakti hai??? Nahin... kuch to choot raha hai..."

by then riya and anvi came to hospital.

"good morning bhaiyya/sir aap ab kaise ho...?"
"m fyn... just doctors ka intezaar kar raha tha... ghar mein sab..."

"haan... sab theek hai... sab ne breakfast kiya aur maine unhe sone bhej diya.."

"good. Riya, I need to talk to you."

"yes sir... tell me..."

"mujhe Aisha ke baare mein batao yahan aane ke baad. Everything. I mean after I was admitted here..."

"bhaiyya... wo to yahin thi... hum sab ke saath..."

"haan sir... but wo itna khush nahin thi... I think you know the reason..."

"haan I know that riya... and kal?kal wo kahan thi?? I mean before going there to the school??"

"wo humare saath hi thi...yahin hospital mein. Par wahan ka mujhe pata nahin..."

"iska matlab hai ki usse yahan se kuch bhi gadbad karna naamumkin tha."

He was cut short by sudden entry of chotu.

"sorry sir but emergency tha. Mere sources ka kehna hai ki taayi ke jaan ko ab bhi khatra hai. To main yahan aa gaya. I have increased the security of this place."

"another thing to add up. Ye kaam definitely Aisha ka nahin hai. Chotu, kal yahan se nikalne ke baad Aisha kahan thi?"

"sir wo to humaare saath hi thi. "

"all the time?"

"yes sir. I and shree were glued to her all the time. Only time we left her was after we wore our jackets and taayi had called called for us... That too not for more than two minutes."

"kya wo beech mein kahin utri thi? Ya uss building se door gayi thi??"

"bilkul nahin sir... wahan aisi koi jagah nahin hai ki wo aasaani se jaake aa sake... not atleast when we were back before two minutes..."

"that makes it clear chotu... Aisha ko phasaya jaaa raha hai..."

"par sir, she has a motive too..."

"motive to hazaro logon ke paas hoga hume maarne ke liye magar har koi mujrim nahin hota. Socho chotu... wo har waqt tum me se kisi ke saath to thi. When did she get time to buy a fake jacket? And then change it??? Zaroor it's a bigger game chotu..."

"may be sir... but pata kaise chalega?"

"yahin to hai riya... I am sure ki Aisha is innocent. But hume proofs chahiye. Anvi, tum uske bail ki taiyaaria karo... chotu tum iss hospital ke security ko badhane ka intezaam karo. Keep your best men here. I don't want any loop holes."
