You say that RK's redemption has already started and if we havent realised it yet, then you have failed in your writing..Well I cant comment on anyone else's opinion, but I would to say that I donot see any redemption, not even self realization..
Realizations is the acceptance of one's feelings and allowing the true self to reveal itself to themselves..the only time RK's true feelings come out is when his subconscious supersedes his controlled self (whether be it when he is drunk or wrought with concern due to her absence), at other times..its just his ego that which overpowers everything else..redemtion is still far away..

As a friend always rightly says that, the story and characters belong to the writers, not the viewers..they are the vision of the writer..maybe this this is your vision of redemption and thats totally fine..
the only reason I am replying is because your commented on whether the viewers were able to understand your vision or not..
I for one cannot..I donot see any realization or redemption..atleast not yet..the only thing I see is maybe something close to poetic justice..

I agree with you even i feel that redemption and rk are poles apart as of now.First rk needs to admit to himself in his consciousness that he loves madhubala. Then he need to realize to which existent he went to destroy and humiliate her. And the he see the emotional damage he did to madhu. After that he need to beg for forgiveness and repent big time. But i dont know how he will redeem himself but it better be of his class and standards. When rk got shot i remember he said the ganpati bappa punished him of his standard so this redemption better be on a large scale and of his class.

I hope the CVs pull their socks up...coz off late the quality of their episodes are pathetic to say the least...

only actors are the saving grace...

They have set the standards they also need to live upto them now...

I agree with you to some extent..redemption didnt start yet but he started realizing it atleast. His ego never allowed him to accept or realize it even when he was with madhu and lost in her love unknowingly..
