Meri taraf dekho Kumud. . .

Heylo SC-ians! :D

This is my first post in this forum, and actually the first in I-F regarding any episode I guess, I'm not that active here, I just drop in once a while, but all the posts around the forum are so over whelming and amazing, I'm just tempted to make one too... :P

Coming to the title of the post. .

"Meri taraf dekho, Kumud! " the angst with which Saras said that, was quite evident in his voice.

He's been regretting his brash act of sending the letter ever since he posted it, and he kinda thought that Kumud would read the letter and deny the proposal and he could carry on with his meditation and vrats for his entire life. 😆

But well, now he didn't know that his father had actually chosen such a bride for him! The moment he saw Kumud during that Skype chat, he had known in the heart of his hearts that he had made a huge mistake by rejecting her outright, and the dignified and elegant demeanor with which Kumud carried herself and the way she reprimanded him for being a coward and sending a letter to reject the proposal and the stubborn way with which she denied to show her face, winded him even more and he couldn't take it any longer!

He packed his friend to LA and landed in Ratnagiri himself, to do a neat job of the whole rejection and to wash his hands of the whole issue once and for all, but little did he know how the whole thing was going to turn out over here.

Though he doesn't accept it outright, he's surprised by the whole family and the pyaar and respect they have for each other and all the stuff he misses at his home back in Dubai and to top it Kumud is this enigma, and he's simply enchanted by her. . . the way she refuses to still show him his face, the way she stood up for him when her family was trying to make him understand about that pond incident, the way she still rebukes him in her silent yet powerful way for being a coward!

He's simply enthralled by her dignity and stubborn nature. . he also knows there is a soft side to her, if she lowers her defenses, which he witnessed when she was applying haldi on his hand , and he cocked his head to the side and looked at her with an amused and mystified expression, but he also knows that it doesn't take her even one moment to get all riled up again and hurt him back for rejecting her outright without seeing her.

And he's more than curious to know about how she agreed to get married to him just by looking at his eyes. . !

So all in all, he wants nothing more than earning her forgiveness at the moment for hurting her and her family's feelings . . and he's poured all the angst he was feeling in that one sentence yesterday, when yet again she refused to look at him.

And coming to Kumud's pov and her character, all of you should check out Reema's and Destiny's posts made yesterday, they've explained her in a wonderful way and its heart warming to see such a strong female protagonist on screen! :)
