Arjun's desperation

Did anyone else notice how desperate arjun was to convince Ovi how she should let the child play with her? If that were my kid (or i thought was my kid) ..if I was Ovi I would slap Arjun today..he wants Ovi (his wife) to let the creepy ex girlfriend play with her ..(purvi) ..arjun should have confronted Purvi or he should in the future episodes ..about time he stands up for his lawful wife.
