All the characters have to do is support WHAT IS RIGHT in a particular situation and everyone would be fine. Gayathri just needs to support the TRUTH.

Had Gayathri not been biased toward Akash despite knowing he lost the cricket game, Yash/Radha wouldn't have been upset. Had she not been biased toward Ishita, Paridhi would not have been upset about the necklace. Had Gayathri given her blessings to all the kids equally, there would be no problem. Something like giving her blessings shouldn't be something that is favored towards a certain person. If she's choosy about that, her blessings are worthless and impure and Yash shouldn't even seek them.

If today Gayathri supports Akash over the bar scene, it'll show how corrupt this woman is. I don't think I'll have any respect for her after that simply b/c a greater thing was at stake: Aarthi's safety/honor. The reason behind it? Akash.

Yes, SP made mistakes: 1. his betrayal 30 years ago 2. messing with Akash's DNA papers 3. still not having said sorry to Gayathri and family. However, he's still giving Yash the same affection as he did before knowing he is illegitimate. (of course, it can be argued that whether or not Yash is illegitmate, he is still SP's blood, just not Gayathris and so it wouldn't affect SP's love as much).

Point being, Yash has been raised as the favorite of 3 brothers for 30 years. Just in a few days Gayathri forgot all about that and is supporting Akash in everything regardless of whether or not Akash is appropriate in his behavior.

Of course in the future Yash/Aarthi will forgive Gayathri, but I want her to have to struggle for that and truly understand how terrible and unfair she is being. It isn't enough that she TELLS Yash that she still loves him the same. She has to prove it through her ACTIONS. I want her to repent severely for how unfairly she treated the son who actually cares about his family and stands up for what is RIGHT, not what makes the people feel happy despite their ill doings.

totally agree with you

gayatri behavior is unrealistic ...

a mother is a mother whether her real child or another

the moment she gave him the affection and love for 30 years it means that is her son

but how gayatri behaves does not agree to what she believed hitherto

Yash was his favorite son

how can she change so much in so little time?

I'm not saying she should refuse akash

but at least do not forget who is yash since 30 years

nice post... 👏

but it's easy to say 'support the truth'... in real life how many of us actually support what is right over what is convenient for us at that time? 😳 in an ideal world, SP would be held accountable for his actions by his family members and made to apologize... but even yash-aarti put him back on his pedestal without waiting for his apology...
for me before gayatri, i want SP to realize how his actions have affected his family and apologize... SP is the one who should repent before anyone else...

It's interesting how our feelings towards different characters changes as well isn't it?

Last week when Akash was being humiliated and SP just stood there despite knowing the truth, I felt bad for Akash and was angry at SP's actions.

Later on, I was annoyed that SP wasn't apologizing to his family and especially to Gayathri. At that point, I felt bad for Gayathri. Even Pankaj was siding towards SP without considering Gayathri's feelings and Vidhi pointed that out to him.

Now, seeing how Gayathri is treating Yash vs how SP is treating Yash along with the way Akash/Ishita have been behaving we are favoring SP again even though his the cause of all these problems

I guess I'm just as instable as these characters hahaa...they are right in their own way...but atm Gayathri is still treating Yash unfairly for SP's mistake

So I guess the main thing is that unless SP takes blame and Gayathri shows her frustration on him directly, Yash will be at the receiving end :(
