I am going to start reading all reviews in alphabetical order. Hope to finish all before Monday night's episode. @Anita

I am highlighting the lines that I liked.

Epi 66 - crutching (my made up word for walking with crutches) - good word.

(why in the world was shyam kicking the guy with his broken foot...wouldn't the make his injuries worse???) - I think that was a blooper.

everyone is happy and akash's face was like bhai tum bhi na (his facial expression was the best) - I agree.

arnav was like great she is affecting me (i was like arre vah arnav already likes the food his future wife will make...how cute) - 😆 😳

Epi 67 - he stops on the steps hoping that khushi would come and stop him but that does not happen... Ya, Ya Mr. Shyam, you wish. 😡

i fell in love once and i am not making that mistake again...Mama ji had the best lines - true, really missed him later on.

khushi was like poor la she is trembling in fear...i should talk to her nicely - so sweet of her, if only she knew the real picture. 😆

Epi 68 - and Anjali was about to say the name when nani called her (I hate all these missed moments - I know, but otherwise how will they stretch the story.

mami was like khushi made a good entrance where as you made a bad one - Sometimes, Mami speaketh the truth.

Good narration. Read the whole in one go.

Epi 69 - Anjali hands arnav a kurta pajama as a gift and arnav was like you know I don't where it'Anjali was I know but I can hope - This was the one Khushi remembered about, at the time of the 2nd Raksha Bandhan, they showed the wrong fb then.

Nani comes in and said that we know khushi is from a nice family so no background check is required but since you are here you can do one for miss kashyap because she is a guest here (you go nani!!!!!) - Yay, hail Nani!

(well too bad the house will have a habit of police that magically appear after the villains confess) - I think in the whole of IPK, only on 3 occasions police enters Shantivan, epi69, then Shyam 2nd revelation and Sheetal's revelation. Or, am I missing any other epi?

Epi 70 - Payash have a cute moment...as i call it silent love...it was so cute...i am just in love with their BG...i wish we had more of these scenes - ya, it was everybody's wish, but still we never got much.

In Arnav's room...arnav is doing work (as shocking as that sounds) - and that too on a laptop with a blank screen. 😆

Arnav is working, typing like a fiend when all of the sudden the light goes off through out the house - ok, so when the lights go out, do we see light coming from the laptop? No, so that's a blooper or a proof that the screen was blank? 😃

shyam's pooja was more intense and less peaceful - poor fellow, whatever he tries to do, it turns out to be a failure. But, I hated him in this scene. 😡

Epi 71 - nani stopped mami ji (I wish nani had better control over her) - I know, sometimes she was too much. But, most of the times, we did get some memorable lines from her.

Arnav told her to get out…khushi was shocked and said it is late…arnav takes off her seat belt and opens the door for her to get out - isn't this the first instance when Arnav asks Khushi to get out of the car. Reminds me of Mrs.India track when Khushi says, 'Pehle gaadi se baar baar nikal jaane ke liye kehte the, ab gaadi mein bithate hi nahin hain' That was very mean of Arnav to leave her on the road so late at night, but then he lost his sense when Khushi mentioned his parents.

Finally Anita, I've read all your reviews. That was a good read. Looking forward to your next ones. Hope to be on time now for reading. 😃

As this event brings purity and togetherness so evil can't be a part of it.Shyam and his evil games can't play any games over here as he is out of this game already.He can't be a part of this family or Anjali's. "Duhtkar hai iss par" some people get stamped by God on their hearts by their own deceitful deeds and he is one of those.

Very well said. That's why Shyam couldn't participate in any of their auspicious ceremony. When he once participated he got caught by Khushi. So evil can't pollute a sanctuary.

All of his tricks and triumphs for convincing Buaji go right to the drain as Buaji is Buaji even she cares so much her Shyam Babua but Khushi is the apple of her eye.Her concerns for her are so visible here as she does not want to miss this opportunity to see the place where Khushi is working so she can have the peace of mind.Love Buaji though sometimes she is harsh on Sanka Devi but her love for Khushi has no boundaries.

We've seen Buaji's immense love for Khushi several times. Buaji didn't have her own child so, she considers Khushi as her child. Buaji was precarious of Khushi's job in RM.

Chote share a precious moment of their childhood which brings softness on Arnav's face.

It was so sweet how they became nostalgic. Childhood memories is always very precious.

"Sanka Devi teri Sanak ki koi aant nahin"

Khushi and her child like antic is always so adorable!

Pause here:Usually older Bahus and brothers are calm but here older ones are "Toofan Mail"and younger ones are "jhag mail"

Naniji's mortification was visible over La while talking to Buaji.😊

Nani was always irascible toward La.I mean La was not less. We usually wear traditional cloth in religious festival.But La's outfit was almost like a swimsuit. It was too revealing!

Pooja is about to start when invited guests[police] arrive and start their verification against Khushi .Plan of making Khushi going through degradation in such a way so she will be ready to leave RM for the sake of her dignity was docketed by no other than La.Her accusations of having and verifying criminal record against Khushi shows clearly her shallow and callow nature.Her plan is to defame Khushi so she has no way out but to quit...😡

La concocted a master plan to defame Khushi and get her out of the house. But it stroke her like a boomerang.

Anjali's annoyance and disapprobation was evident and a clear indication of her immense love for Khushi.This bond is getting its gripping roots in their hearts and minds and making this relation stronger and stronger. 😊

Before the revelation of Shyam Anjali was like a sister to Khushi. Remember how she tried to meliorate Arshi's relationship after the contract marriage.

really liar liar chote kapre on fire..."ASR's asperity over La was very visible after finding the truth.ASR arrival and Khushi's relief was evident of her increasing trust in him no matter what.ASR and Nani both are hot blooded as Anjali seizes the fire among them

for Khushi Naniji always have respect and immense love.

From Naniji's perspective Khushi is an ideal Indian woman and she loved her a lot.

[Why do I feel she always sees herself and her daughter in Khushi though writers change the story and I still don't accept the way Arnav's mom was portrayed ,a wise, and a balanced woman can do such a thing like suicide.]

Arnav's mom was selfish. How cum a woman can commit suicide when she had two young children. Dadi was right, she was indeed a very weak person.

Did you forget Khushi also wanted to suicide!

Khush's pain and disquietude was flowing with her tears as she is inhaling all the humiliation for the sake of her family by keeping her chin up with smile.Some how the depth of the pain did enter in his hard shell as he sees her pain, feels her pain which aggrieves his vexation as her tears are clutching his heart and mind to stop for her and he does not once ,twice and She does notice that too.😊

They are soul mates. So they feel their inner turmoil and anguish. Arnav seemed hurt too. He wanted to comfort her, but her ego came in between them.

Pause here:If her smile spreads smile on his face and does wonders,her tears tear him apart and desolate him too.This is the beginning which is going to end"Hum Jante hain...Hamara eik eik aansoon aapke dil ko hazar bar chot ponhchata hai" [ I know my tears wound your heart] on Bachelor night. And Asr,"bas mein yehi to chata tha keh eik bar tumhare chere per smile aa jaye"[I just wanted to see the smile on on your face]after kidnapping.👏

reporter durga confirms, that the women of this thread (led by the maker of this post) gave wiwy a sad khushi moment, however in true khushi style wiwy overcame the dukh and disbelief and rose above it, only to share all and spread joy in the thread. 😆 for this selfless act, i propose a toast of hot jalebis to and a pool full of tum theek ho's for our one and only riddle maker, philosopher, barun planet resident. here's to more phone calls and next time, tell him to drop in for a moment and say hello... okay?

Mamiji was an elderly person. But used to behave so immature. So how she would earn the respect!

Outside the raizada house'la comes to stop khushi from leaving'she said who said your job is over'I need you to teach me stuff or ASR and you will get over time'bua ji gets pissed and said that she will not let khushi stay so late'khushi intervenes and said that la is right, it is my job'then bua ji said that we will stay until you are done'khushi said no'you go and I will come home and plus it is time to take your night medicine'bua ji had to agree to leave and her and payal left.
La was too much.She was too afflictive to Khushi. I thought after done so much for her La would be nice to Khushi. But she was too inexorable.

In Akash's car'bua ji is complaining how khushi has to work so late'and Akash said that he will make sure khushi gets home safe and sound'Bua ji then said that akash is like a flower whereas arnav is like a thorn'she cannot believe they are brothers. Akash smiles and keeps stealing glances of payal through the rear view mirror'Oh silent love how cute is it.
there love was like yesteryear kind of love. 😆 Does this type of love exist in this modern world?

In la's room, khushi is apparently teaching la how to tie a braid'more like treating her as servant' I also felt same. I hated La.
she then said that your are pulling my hair on purpose and made her fold a sari because la has to type an important message'khushi was about to fold the sari where nani came'and la jumped off the bed and la said that khushi is here to teach me more things'nani was like I did not ask anything and I will not let khushi stay any longer'
Nani knew already that La was lying. Love you Naniji. You are the best
right then arnav came and asked nani what is up'nani was like good thing you are here, drop off khushi'arnav thinks about what khushi said about making him go to the pooja and agrees immediately (someone wants to speak their mind)'khushi is shocked and scared'la said she will go along' and nani was like no, you said you wanted to learn some things so I will teach you (oh la look what you did with your brilliant plan).
Nani knew how to handle La. I liked her imperative attitude towards La and Arnav as well.La deserved someone like Nani, who can keep her straight😆

At the gupta house'bua ji, payal and shyam are worried for khushi'shyam said you should have brought khushi with you guys'it is so late how will she come home'Shyam was like what should I do'I cannot call the RM'payal was about to call the RM, when bua ji stopped her and said what happens if mami ji picked up the phone'she will say something and hurt your feelings'khushi will come.
Double face Shyam. Buaji is too caring. She loves Payal and Khushi immensely

In Arnav's car'arnav is driving angrily'thinking about what khushi said..Arnav was asking her questions and khushi did not answer she tried to leave the car but he locked it'he said that you cannot leave until you answer my question'khushi had to agree because he has to take her home'he asked her why did she bring him to the pooja'she said to teach you a lesson and not show your big ego to god'you do not treat god right nor people'Arnav was like how dare you make a shart of not seeing me and now you are telling me how I should behave infront of god'khushi calls him a rakhsaas and said that he is insulting la by not marrying her'

He was feeling guilty and concern at the same time. After all she is a young girl. It is very risky for a young beautiful girl roaming around in the dark street all alone.

Somehow khushi gets home, and the family was like what took so long and are you okay'.payal notices the mud stains and asked what happened'khushi said that she fell when she took an auto'they are shocked that khushi took an auto'payal said that I could not say it then but I will say it now'but la is not good, and I think you should not work for her'khushi is in thinking'she is thinking about the events and is said'can khushi face anymore humiliation???
Khushi hid her pain from the family. Coz she didn't want to see them in distress.she was too mature than her age.

tell me you're not feeling what he's feeling.

after watching episode 68, i was a bit surprised at my own response. i remember the first time i saw it, being completely enamoured of the krishna story telling by khushi. leaping around, on top a table one second, basket on head the next, everyone watching mesmerised, nature reflecting her recounting, crack of thunder, gust of wind, sound effects on cue, a feeling of ballet and dance drama, a play within a serial... the story of a father taking the eighth son of his wife to safety through calamity and miracles, his own uncle waiting to kill him... his protector... sheshnag... the behemoth serpent. oh i have heard this story so many times as a child, but nothing beat khushi's telling of it. sanaya irani, a zoroastrian, possibly never heard this story growing up, yet who'd believe this was not a part of her, so innocent her khushi, so into the moment, ready for the birth of little krishna. excitement gleaming in her eyes, even lavanya's complete lack of knowledge and interest not bothering her.

i was really looking forward to it, thinking that would be the high point of my 22 minutes of therapy. but somehow, while i enjoyed it, it didn't give me the zizz i remembered. happens i guess, even the best of scenes loses a bit of its glory as time goes by.

but not a bit seems to have dissipated when it comes to watching asr. in fact, i feel he is getting stronger every watch. that shot of him walking into the house, and sensing her. how corny if i describe it to someone. yet, how absorbing if you happened to look at the television at that moment.

we call it acting, but with barun it seems to be a case of becoming. i am not a television watcher, nor a major movie buff... yet this young man's portrayal of his material just takes me to another place. which is why i come here even now, why i joined something called a tv serial forum in the first place.

saw him years ago in shraddha. thought he had something about him. but the serial was too raw, too clumsy to really show us the qualities that ipk and asr finally brought out. i now go back and watch scenes from shraddha, bhph. he actually becomes swayam khurana in the sketchily drawn character, and then the better drawn but still not all the way there shravan jaiswal. have a feeling in all three cases, i include asr here, the actor really filled out and completed the character. of course, guided to a lesser or greater extent by the writers and directors, but the final push came from him. when i see swayam, i see this element more and more now. it always fills my heart. i can feel the ah growing inside. a certain sense of satisfaction. one might even call it happiness.

yes, hot damn sexy he is, and terribly awfully attractive, but what keeps me here, has me in withdrawal, is that becoming. an example in the shot above. i could feel what he felt.

he was sensing this girl. and somehow the flying strands of hair, so filmi and the language of another era of film making, the gust of wind swirling, studied pause in story telling, everything felt natural, normal, perfect. lasted a few seconds... made the episode for me.

the phone rang and she picked it up. her hello got a rude "kaun?" why were his eyes so bright, did he know that at her very thought he came alive? sanaya had the perfect come back, "kans??!" a really clever actor, she is one of very few women actors that i've seen who really has a sense of comedy. she seems to not be "acting" at all when doing this kind of thing. deadly timing, at times sharper than barun's. if only our serials had a space for an intelligent, cool female character. this eternal bahu playing, traditional, modern, whatever but clearly labelled and marked "bahu" or wanna be bahu, most tiring. especially for a pretty scary bahu like me. some day i would like to see these two together doing something totally different and opening up the world of characters some more for me.

"di ko phone doh!" that rough, abrupt grating thing in his voice. i could dunk it in a hot cup of tea and eat it up happily. my perception and sensory abilities do crazy stuff around this fellow's work.

khushi is eating again. this time to get some courage, if not equanimity. she makes it to bravado, tries to talk to him. he of course is witheringly rude. my knees are turning to water.

have a feeling so are hers, only that her experience and sheltered life with very staid views of what's a good man, etc., just don't let her understand this is not kans, this is the man whose flute she hears, who rings her bell. again across episode played nat khat nand kissore. who is kans, who is shyam, come ons, tells me tells me, he seemed to ask us all.

when khushi thought she had the upper hand, she tried to go into the offensive with a nicely twisted, turned, "suna aapne," eyes narrowing, voice getting testy. but before she could warm to the themes, a clear "beep," he's switched off the phone. one of the sexiest things i've seen in a while. ah this mistaken notion that sexy is taut muscles, bare bodies, visible skin. all some people have to do is switch off he phone with a certain look... fully clothed in, far away from object of desire, surrounded by loud, loads of not considered very sophisticated marigold garlands.

little krishna was in a seriously playful mood today, so he made sure some of his favourite butter fell just where he knew two people would cross each other's path. i will digress for a moment, have i ever said before how proud i am of the creatives and the mindset of this household that rahim chacha, clearly not hindu, is often seen handling food for the temple, entering the prayer area, etc.? no heavy discussion on this theme, but this clear message that one can value tradition and still be open minded, not segregating people on the basis of cast, creed, religion, gender, i love it. naniji was truly a woman who deserved to have a woman's day. this character made me super proud. dadi was her opposite... forget someone of a different religion, she wouldn't let a "servant" in to prayer space. she obviously knows nothing of meera, "mohe chakar rakho ji, " her song to krishna. somewhere, we are all serving, all servants of the eternal... that's the ultimate job meera seeks. as you can see krishna is playing with my mind too.

but far more engaging, the rabba vey he has organised. asr walks into the house, khushi walks out of the kitchen, again lavanya becoming a cause of her reaching asr just then, just there. both know the other's nearby, only not exactly where. and two people stride toward each other at right angles... she slips on bal gopal's stolen butter and lands in kans's arms. another pretty ridiculous to describe, but impossible to look away from or not feel, embrace. drink to me only with thine eyes, and i will pledge with mine (to celia by ben jonson). i sat and got tipsy watching the two, a smile easing onto my lips. i mean, shouldn't i be reading shakespeare or something or maybe saving the world? at 53 surely there's a nobler pursuit. what can i say? i was happy, hope that counts in some way toward all good things.

then that yellow veil floated down.

why, i wondered. later when akash came and proceeded to look sweetly smitten he clutched a yellow material in his hands. why, again i wondered. maybe yellow has some meaning, something to do with ties... yes, of course colour of haldi (can't say that word now without thinking of a cheek coming close, stubble in nat khat mood)... and haldi is an essential part of wedding. or maybe, the director simply liked the red/green/ yellow colour combination. needs a ponder.

he was mad at her, how lovely. and was about to start of, "tum..." but di interrupted them and they went their own ways. but when khushi asked di to give her a mo, he just had to turn back and look at her. for. no. reason.

maybe that look back got him even more gussa. when talk of khushi staying back started, he appeared out of nowhere to just insult her for no reason, "overtime ke double paise offer karo... shauk se rukegi," offer her twice the money in overtime, she's stay back.

khushi was in no mood to take it, so hurt though shew as, she shot back via anjali, everything can't be bought with money.

yeah right, har cheez, par tum. not everything, but you...

this is full frontal attack. she has riled him... neither she knows why, nor he... but she can feel it, and he, oh yes, he can so feel it.
