Q. What attracts you to a man?
I have three requirements. The first thing that attracts me is a sense of humour. I like to believe that I have a great sense of humour. So, if he makes me laugh, I automatically notice him. Secondly, he needs to let me be myself. I hate it when people tell me what to do. When people tell me what to say, how to sit or what to wear I just want to slap them. If he tries to change me he is out. Thirdly, he has to smell good. If he isn't wearing good perfume he can just leave.
Q. If your partner isn't too fit is that a problem?
Not at all. Look at me do I look fit to you? In fact, if he's little fat it would feel so much better to hug him.
Q. Do you like a midnight snack?
Yes I love it. I eat full meals in the middle of the night. Specially pizzas. I hate to cook. I can't cook to save my life. I love the fast food system. I just want food to be delivered so all I have to do is eat it.
Q. Now that you are an actress do you have a diet or a fitness regime?
Are you crazy? I hate fitness regimes. But if someone asks me to lose weight for a role then I'd do it happily. During Ishaqzaade I had to be fit because of my role but even then I used to cheat all the time. I love sweets. That's one thing I can't stop.
Q. How do you deal with crazy fans?
I've never had a crazy fan incident yet. On Twitter people write to me saying that they love me. I try to reply to them. Sometimes people also spam you on social networks. One must just ignore them.
Q. Your idea of a perfect date?
I don't like cliched romances. I don't like the gifts and flowers nonsense. I hate when boys offer to take me out for dinner. I'll slap them. I like it simple. You come to my house or I'll come to your house and we will sit, watch TV and order pizza.
Q. What is the cheesiest pick-up line used on you?
I've been on the receiving end of the worst pick-up line ever. So this guy approaches me and says, 'Did it hurt?' I'm like, 'What?' and then he says, 'When you dropped from the sky.' I wanted to break his face.
Q. What is your take on adoption?
I'd love to adopt a child. I want to have lots of children. I might not be able to conceive all of them. So I'll adopt.
Q. How spontaneous are you as a person?
Personally, I'm crazy and I can say and do anything. Professionally, I don't have the knowhow of things. There I go by my gut. I'm just blessed that I'm surrounded by people who help me take these decisions.
Q. What do you think of live-in relationships?
I'm totally cool with live-in relationships. If you are in a relationship it is normal to meet your partner when the day ends. If you're tired you'll end up sleeping in his house and return to yours in the morning. Even if you do that three or four times a week that for me is a live-in relationship. I don't have to take my suitcase and change my address to call it that. The dynamics of live-in relations are confusing. You're either sleeping with the person or you're not.
Q. What do you think of infidelity?
It's unacceptable. I'm not saying this because it's politically correct, but because I've never had a fling or a one-night stand. I've been in a couple of serious relationships. I'd never be able to forgive someone who was unfaithful to me.
Q. What has been your biggest splurge?
I've just done the interiors of my house that turned out to be quite expensive. And I just booked a first class ticket for my international travel four hours before the flight. I've never spent so much in one go ever.
Q. One habit you want to get rid of?
I bite the skin on my fingers and I want to stop that. It's an ugly habit.
Q. What are your fetishes?
I have a fetish for hand towels. (Laughs) I have 300 million of them. Every time I go to buy stuff I buy towels for sure. I have a cupboard full of towels.
Q. Your favourite Punjabi dish?
Has to be rajma, baingan ka bharta and boneless kadhai chicken.
Q. Is flirting healthy?
Yes it is. And so much fun too. When you're flirting you're feeling nice and beautiful. That's why you're doing it. May be the person's remarks make you feel confident at that time.
Q. Any regrets in life?
I wish I'd studied films and decided earlier to be an actress. I'm 24 but I believe I could have started a little earlier.
Q. One thing that your parents nag you about'
Oh God! I can name 1200. But the major one is that I don't call them or stay in touch for days. Sometimes, I don't return calls for a couple of days. Also, though I'm not a big spender, I'm loose with money.
Q. What would you prefer to keep handy in your bag - pepper spray or brass knuckles?
Neither. I'm enough.
Q. Best gift you've ever received'
A couple of years ago I was talking to a friend and told him how I love the TV series Friends. He actually went ahead and got me the whole collection of 10 seasons. It cost 10, 000 which still is a lot of money. He also bought me the entire Friends' books. Now I have a whole Friends corner in my house thanks to him.
Q. One fashion faux pas that you distinctly remember'
It was irresponsible on my part but once I wore an outfit where my undergarments were showing. All the fashion websites and channels went to town about it.
Q. One thing that brings a smile on your face'
Music. Any genre, any time. Music is my weakness.
Q. Who's your 4 am friend?
Maneesh Sharma is a 4 am friend. Uday Chopra is also someone I can call that late. But I'm closer to Maneesh than I am to Uday. Actually, I can even call up my mother. She's an insomniac.
Q. Your take on augmentation?
If you think you need augmentation and doing it makes you happy then why not. I'm scared of hospitals so I don't think I'll ever choose that option. I could have easily gone and removed all my fat. If someone wants their nose to look bigger, then why not! It's a privilege service why not use it.
