see the diff is in the people sitting in the judges chair..first season nach, saroj khan's absolute favourites were rajeshwari-varun (well deserved i must add) but even then, when varun had blanked out, she was the first to point out tht he had no excuse..people blank out all the time, the real performance is when u go inspite tht..if u can, i wud really like u guys to see tht performance..rajeshwari did everything a dancer cud do to cover up, but he just cudnt catch up..but not even once did he use any excuse..he accepted tht he screwed up and tht's tht..

secondly, all the hype abt arvind-neelu being the eldest couple, again season 1 had sachin-supriya who were much older thn the rest, but in their performances, it dint show..even if they were ill, had pains, had prior committments, so cudnt rehearse, there were NO excuses..and the judges dint entertain any excuses either..they appreciated tht these two were dancing inspite of the age issue, but again, thts tht..it was not rubbed in the other participants faces..

i personally am against all the sob stories, the romance etc on stage coz it moves the focus from DANCE..ur asked to dance as a couple, and the love and understanding SHOWS thru tht itself..u dnt have to go on and on regarding it off the dance floor..am sorry if it offends anyone, but mostly these are nothing but gimmicks for sympathy votes..

and frankly, Nach Baliye will NEVER have the magic it did for the first two seasons wid saroj khan as the judge..nobody else has the capacity to get tht experience or personality..terrence makes a good judge, but for sum reason, he bows down before sajid and shilpa who seem to know NOTHING abt dance..we had directors as judges even earlier, but none were as oblivious to the concept of dance as sajid is..we had bollywood dancers too, but none were as superflous as shilpa is..there are good dancers now also, but the judging is wierd..
