Actor Avinesh Rekhi, last seen in the social thriller 'Chhal — Sheh Aur Maat' (CSAM), is back on the tube with Colors' 'Madhubala — Ek Ishq Ek Junoon'. He will play Sultan, a gangster, whose entry will lead to a major twist in the already complicated love story of RK (Rishab Kundra) and Madhu, played by Vivian Dsena and Drashti Dhami, respectively.
Avinesh says he is quite comfortable playing negative roles as he had played one in CSAM too. "I have no inhibitions about playing a negative role. In fact, I revel in it. As an actor, such roles give you the liberty to experiment and showcase a different aspect of your talent," he says. "Actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt have been famous for their negative roles. Nowadays, it's good to be bad and actors rarely shy away from showcasing their negative side,"Avinesh adds.
So, will Sultan herald more troubled times in RK and Madhu's life? Or, will it bring the estranged couple together? Only time will tell.
