Kumud flinging things around and pouting coz Saras , bina dekhe refused? What...
She would have preferred him to take a good look at her and THEN refuse? That would have been rude, insensitive and very uncool.
Saras' eyes keep filling the screen for a reason. He's deep. I'm not saying Kumud is not capable of thinking beyond pictures. Later on in the saga she will rise to great heights. But at the moment she's a victim of some pride. Saras has reasons that go beyond anything she is aware of but she's too young and blinkered. So much so, she thinks she can fool him by sending Kusum as Kumud 2. Saras of course is very unimpressed. Kusum, on the other hand is maha impressed. She can see that hopefully-Jiju isn't a dunce. Are these all symbols pointing to the actual novel? We shall see... after many months.
DukhBa/Badi Ma is suddenly the guardian of Sara's mom's memory? No thanks. Saras is quite capable of safeguarding his mom's izzat. Doesn't have to carry a picture of her in his wallet.
Nandu really looks like he's having a mid-life crisis. Trophy wife, over dyed hair, and completely oblivious to any thing that's not about him. So Saras is patiently waiting till dad grows up, or not. The good thing about Saras is, he lets people be. He has his own path and he follows it.
Yes, those eyes communicate a lot. For those who want to see it.
