Agreed Raksha...but at least in jaipur and udaipur big cities of rajasthan...they have maintain their culture and respect for elders...not like kaveri,,,i dont think tht they must wearin such transparent sarees in front of their in-laws..im from bombay...its possible here.

I think this is all to promote and start a new fashion the stars throw their tantrums...the serial makers jus cannot say anything...the tragedy is tht they dont go into minute details of place..city ..story..even the likes and dislikes...the sincerity is not their.
Thats why they show silly mistake. They dont see the time..always presented in tip-top dresses and make-ups n jewelleries.It looks far from reality.

that is true. But Raj if is it fashion then people do. Things have changed. they may not be wearing bare blose(that is what I called kaveri's blouse. but in rajasthan they only wear half saree. We call it odhni. Like Saloni was wearing and gaytri was wearing. That is traditional rajsthani outfit.
Sarees i think people wear whatever is in fashion. It all depends upon families too. some families are old fashion and some are modern.
You won't beleieve this my husband is from small town and I had too wear saree their every time I visited them. here I was wearing miniskirt and same at my parents. But one time I almost fell carrying my son and my husband got so angry with my inlaws that why would they make me wear saree. So it all depends. But my nanads were wearing dresses at their sasural and at that time my inlaws had no problem. So it all depends on the families.

Right...here they have shown onli gayatri wearing the traditional outfit since she was widow..my point is tht the serial makers wen they show a particular state, they shud try to concentrate on the costumes,their culture, traditions to look more natural...they have to create tht ambience. This is wer they falter, otherwise they just show as a big city regular drama.

i agree with you there. Intially after her wedding they show Saloni wearing those traditional outfits while Tara is wearing revealing sarees. I guess they pay more attention to fashions and stuff. I thinks these serials dictates fashion industry somewhat. They want actress actresses to wear certian outfits and jewellary so by seeing people ask for them. Like saloni's butterfly saree and kaveri's see trhu saree.

Ur rite Raksha its show buz...but doesnt it looks odd wen they talk about those sanskaar and moral values n ethics by wearing those revealing dresses... 😆 😆 Tara had said mny times.but how she has behaved with saloni and Bhabho and others...same thing about kaveri..

Actually if they wants to show tht fashion parade thn the serial makers shud not use those dialogues..about the culture n sanskaar..looks funny..jo kahte hain woh khud follow nahi karte hain. 😆 😊

Raj it theyhave tradional clothes and dresses many of will not be watching these serials. How many times you have seen discusiion about who's sarees are best. Who wear what on this forum. Tara's and her sree style has come up at least a dozen time. Serial makers give swhat we ask for. They visists the forum regularly. We have been discussing for few days about Nahar not getting role and guess what Naahr started having some action.
